Benebone's Wishbone Chew isn't your dog's average chew toy. Made in the USA from durable nylon and real USA-sourced bacon throughout, the ergonomic wishbone will keep your dog chewing with delight! Each prong has deep flavor grooves to keep him interested and the unique, paw-friendly shape makes gripping extra easy. As if that wasn't enough, with your purchase you'll also be supporting animal welfare nationwide as a portion of all Benebone sales are donated to animal support organizations!
Key Benefits- Features a dog-friendly ergonomic design, so your pup can get a good grip every time.
- Delivers a wag-worthy flavor from real bacon that's fused all the way through the chew.
- Made in the USA, including all packaging, tooling and all material and ingredient sourcing.
- With your purchase you'll also be supporting animal welfare nationwide as a portion of all Benebone sales are donated to animal support organizations!
- Helps satisfy your pup’s natural urge to chew, promoting relaxation and discouraging chewing on your favorite furniture or shoes.
Made in a facility that processes nuts, including peanuts, so keep out of households with allergies. Always supervise chewing. Discard after damage or significant wear.
Benebones should be enjoyed but not eaten. While very durable, Benebones are not a fit for very aggressive chewers who could damage the product or damage their teeth. Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

What are Benebones made of?
Benebones are made with USA-sourced nylon and flavored with USA-sourced real ingredients – real peanuts, white meat chicken, bacon or maple wood. That’s it! Benebone likes to keep it simple.
How hard are Benebones?
Since it’s a durable nylon chew, Benebones are pretty hard and durable. You can’t make an indent on the product with your fingernail, however hard you try. So be sure your pup has strong, healthy teeth and can handle harder chews such as antlers and real bones.
When should I replace my Benebone?
If pieces the size of rice or smaller fall off the Benebone, these generally do not cause a problem. If the product has lost more than a sugar cube’s worth of volume, it’s time to replace.
How long will a Benebone last?
Benebones are durable chews designed to last a few weeks or more. We recommend replacing monthly, or sooner if wear indicates.
What size is best for my dog?
Weight is only a rough guide. It cannot replace sound judgment based on a dog’s size, chew strength, and tooth strength. When in doubt, choose the larger size.
Can puppies enjoy Benebones too?
Puppies can enjoy Benebone’s Puppy line, which are a tad softer for teething puppies.
Is the Maplestick as durable as other Benebones?
The Maplestick contains a good amount of maple wood fiber mixed in with the nylon. It is durable, but wears a bit faster than the rest of the Benebone line.
What if my child or dog has an allergy?
Benebone products are made in a factory where nuts and other flavors are used. Unfortunately, keep Benebone products away from households with an allergy.

Great for super chewers
By Char on Apr 20, 2021
My dogs (a pit bull and a Frenchie) got this toy a week ago and it has survived so far. My pit bull is a super chewer and normally destroys toys instantly. So far this one remains intact! Definitely not a good toy for fetch because it is really hard and I could see a dog breaking a tooth if it hit them in the mouth accidentally. It's good for keeping them occupied, rather than chewing on shoes or things they aren't supposed to chew on!

Good for heavy chewer
By DogFamily on Apr 15, 2021
Our dog is just under one. She loves to chew and chews when nervous. We have quite a few chew bones in her “toy box.” The soft furry , squeaky toys she destroys within minutes of supervised play. She does chew these Benebones up and we keep replacing. Satisfied with how long they last with our medium sized dog’s chewing. We have never had her chew on any furniture and believe it because we keep her supplied with chew toys.

Wonderful Wishbone Toy
By mdawilkes on Apr 14, 2021
Hershey, our one year plus 3 months old mini dachshund, absolutely loves this chew toy. He actually inherited a larger version of this toy from another of our family's larger dogs, and, from day one this has been his very favorite. It has curbed his unwanted chewing elsewhere, and the size does not intimidate him at all. Hershey's has been whittling it down a bit since he got it. I would recommend it to any pet owner.

Ellie's favorite toy!
By Sara on Apr 2, 2021
After I rescued my lab mix, one of the first purchases I made for her was the Benebone Puppy bacon flavored wishbone. Ellie would search the house for that bone, and would chew it every day. Her puppy version got us through her teething phase and everything that came after. Now that she is older, and that bone has seen better days, we upgraded our toy basket with this adult Benebone bacon flavored wishbone. She loves to hold the bottom as she chews the knobs on each side. I foresee myself purchasing a lot of these over her lifetime.

I love these!
By Swespi on Mar 29, 2021
I have 2 massive chewers at home (both mix breeds), they destroy just about every toy that isn't completely solid all the way through or nylon... The only toy they do have that isn't those is the plastic bit that came off of rope that they chewed right though. This is so amazing! They absolutely love them, they hold up against their obsessive/aggressive chewing with ease, and it takes them forever to get it down to a point of throwing it away and getting them a new one. I would highly recommend this if you have an aggressive/obsessive chewer who destroys just about everything.

Big wishbone, dog loves it
By Wishbone on Apr 19, 2021
When I got it, I was a little dismayed because it’s so large. My dog is a 20 pound 10-month-old puppy and I wasn’t sure she’d be able to handle it. She was initially a little leery of it, but then, I guess it must smell pretty good, because she has done a good job on all the knobby ends. The only problem is when she drags it back into the house and drops it on the wood floor.

DONT BOTHER
By Foxy on Apr 11, 2021
Honestly I don't understand how people rave about this? My dog who chews anything looked at me like i was crazy when i gave this to him. It's plastic. I don't get it. He doesn't want anything to do with it. It's a big piece of plastic. If Your dog did want to chew on it, he could chew off pieces of plastic and swallow it! Can I have my money back please

2 minutes=destroyed
By Nikki on Apr 1, 2021
I just bought the large, $17.00, bone. My dog is a 60 pounds, and I thought this would be amazing for him because it is recommended for dogs under 90 pounds. I had to take it away after 2 minutes because he was starting to disintegrate the end. This seems ridiculous! I have never written a review for anything, but this made me upset.

Great for tough chewers!!
By Michelle on Feb 26, 2021
I purchased this for my 12lb cavapoo puppy after she chewed up her puppy Nylabone into tiny pieces in minutes! She loves this bone and it is definitely durable! However, I was a little worried it might be too tough for her since it’s made for adult dogs (even though I checked her teeth and they looked fine), so I later purchased the puppy benebone just in case. She loves that one just the same and luckily it’s just as durable! So for now, I’m giving her the puppy benebone and saving this one for when she’s a little older. I highly recommend trying out benebone if you have an aggressive chewer!

My dog didn't initially like it but loves it now
By Rosie224 on Mar 30, 2021
My dog initially didn't like benebones at all. He showed zero interest so we were a little disappointed. However, he was a puppy when we first introduced them. He's now about 10 months old and LOVES his benebone. I think the material just might've been a little too tough on his teeth when he was younger.
