When your puppy’s gums are sore from teething, help him “stick” it out with the Benebone Puppy Maplestick Dog Toy! This nylon chew toy is made in the USA with real flavor from yummy maple wood to mimic your puppy’s favorite outdoor fetch toy. Let your little guy gnaw away without worrying about the dirt, bugs or splinters that make you confiscate other tasty twigs at the door. The Puppy Maplestick is slightly softer than adult Benebone toys to help ease your puppy’s teething pain and offers hours of gnaw-some fun. Your pup can easily grab onto the raised branch design, making this toy more attractive than traditional flat bone shapes. Plus, giving him a proper place to chew can help keep your furbaby safe and satisfied—and your furniture looking good!

Keep an eye out for wear and tear. Within a month or so, most dogs chew Benebone into submission. Rice-sized flakes are OK, but if it looks like larger chunks are about to come off, it’s time to replace.

Always choose the largest product your dog can handle, even if you have a dog rated for the smaller size.
Benebones are made with USA-sourced nylon and flavored with USA-sourced real ingredients – real peanuts, white meat chicken, bacon or maple wood. That’s it! Benebone likes to keep it simple.
Since it’s a durable nylon chew, Benebones are pretty hard and durable. You can’t make an indent on the product with your fingernail, however hard you try. So be sure your pup has strong, healthy teeth and can handle harder chews such as antlers and real bones.
If pieces the size of rice or smaller fall off the Benebone, these generally do not cause a problem. If the product has lost more than a sugar cube’s worth of volume, it’s time to replace.
Benebones are durable chews designed to last a few weeks or more. We recommend replacing monthly, or sooner if wear indicates.
Weight is only a rough guide. It cannot replace sound judgment based on a dog’s size, chew strength, and tooth strength. When in doubt, choose the larger size.
Can puppies enjoy Benebones too?
Puppies can enjoy Benebone’s Puppy line, which are a tad softer for teething puppies.
Is the Maplestick as durable as other Benebones?
The Maplestick contains a good amount of maple wood fiber mixed in with the nylon. It is durable, but wears a bit faster than the rest of the Benebone line.
Benebone products are made in a factory where nuts and other flavors are used. Unfortunately, keep Benebone products away from households with an allergy.

We're excited to try out this bone with our puppy, but will probably wait a while to introduce it. It is firm, and I can't indent it with my fingernail. But it is marketed for puppies. We might check with the vet to see when would be a good time to give this to our guy. It seems well made and has a bacon/meat scent, which I'm sure the pup will appreciate!
I ordered this for our boy Riley and he really enjoyed it. It seems to be one of his favorites. It is a good size and good shape for dogs. I think it will last Riley for some time.
This chew toy is perfect for teething puppies I bought them for my litter of 8! They all loved them as did their new pawrents!
I introduced this to my puppy today and I can tell it's already one of his favorites. We've been working on him ignoring my cat whenever he walks by, and this bone was a great distraction for him. He had Zero interest in my cat while he was chewing on this.
Perfect for our teething puppy. The perfect size for a 13 week old Golden Retriever and her sharp little teeth!
My GSD puppy was not interested in this chew toy. Tried putting peanut butter on it to get her started. But she just licked the PB off. I tried to playing with it with her, but not interested. It might be too hard for her to chew on.
I have a 10 week old puppy who loves this toy. This is her kennel toy. She’s only allowed to play with it when she’s in the kennel, and loves it so much that even when I’m home I find her in the kennel just so she can chew on it.
Got this to help my 3 month old puppy but aside for 15 seconds out of the package she has zero interest in this. It is very hard. I expected softer for a puppy with baby teeth still.
My 10-pound puppy can't lift this and it's way toooooo hard for him. I guess I'll try it again in 6+ months.
The best bone for a puppy. No splinters, will keep your pup safe and busy.
