Saves My Little Guy's Nose
I found this butter years ago being sold by the SNORT Rescue team, and we've been using it ever since. Brutus is an (almost) 13 y/o Boston and his nose gets drier with the years and health issues. We used to use as needed, now it's a morning and night regimen or he dries out. We get the big tube from here, which I can easily roll on his nose. He gets his medicine as a "treat" after and doesn't rub the butter off (only unintentionally sometimes, snuggling his whole face into the side of his bed as he does). I'll use a dog wipe every so often to clean/exfoliate before applying. I feel it's perfect when we manage to achieve that oiled soft-grain leather look. I was checking if we need more, we've had this tube for months, but there's still plenty, so thought I'd just share as a happy customer. It's always a relief seeing his nose in good shape, this product is appreciated!
This is THE ONE!
OK so one of our choco labs has a chronic dry snoot. This was the first type of nose balm we tried. Well, I take that back. We had another type already at home that we bought years prior for a previous dog that worked really well but it was very expired and the company no longer in biz. So we set out to find something very similar to what we had. The Blissful Dog worked pretty well but of course we had to make sure there wasn't something out there that worked even better. We tried just about everything, Pet MD 3-in-1, Bag Balm, Ruff Relief, Natural Dog Company, Nature's Butter...) but nothing even came close to working as well as The Blissful Dog. We're now on our second can of it. And they offer really big cans of it for a bargain of a deal. The difference between them all...the others have a much more greasy/oily consistency whereas The Blissful Dog has more of a waxy consistency so it tends to stay on longer and generally just works better overall. Think of it like comparing vasoline to chapstick relative to their consistency (not suggesting you use either on your dog). We use The Blissful Dog Nose Butter twice a day. If we go on vacation and forget to take it with us (oh how sad we are), it literally takes 2-3 days and before we are noticing a significant difference. Highly recommend this stuff. Two paws up!! 10/10
Does the Job
My beautiful Buddy has an auto immune disease, which makes his nose very dry. Using this balm, his nose is softer. I do have to use this every day. I also use the paw butter because his pads get dry. This is working for Buddy!
Works Like Magic
Great product!!! Saw improvement the first day, and totally smooth nose in 3 days. Applying once a week for maintenance. Easy to apply when a small amount was warmed in our palm, and distracted him with a treat or a walk out to the mailbox. No issue with him at all. Highly recommend!!!
Miracle product!
Chester, my black cocker spaniel, had a chronic crusty nose condition for several years and I tried several products and even coconut oil, and I felt so sorry for him because the tip of his black nose was always gray and crusty. I started this nose butter 1 1/2 weeks ago and it’s almost healed already! I wish I would have bought this sooner for my loving buddy!
It really works
I’m a believer! My golden had a rough ridge on her nose and while I would put coconut oil to help soothe, she would lick it off or her brother would, so no results. I saw this product and thought I would try, but not giving much credence. I was wrong! This stuff really works and her nose is completely smooth again. She licks it initially, but not enough to remove the balm.
This product works!
This winter our 13 year old lab had a very seriously dry nose that also ended up with a crack in it. After the first application of "The Blissful dog nose butter", there was already improvement. I couldn't believe it! After repeat applications, it did not take long before his nose was back to normal. I usually do not write reviews but this product was so impressive that I had to let people know that it really does work. Thank you to the creators for helping our dear old friend!!
It Works!!
My dog Shadow for years has had a dry nose that cracked and sometimes bled. We went to the vet who gave us a steroid cream that helped a little. Well we ran out and I got this for the time being and her nose is almost completely cleared up after 2 weeks! It works better than what the vet gave us; and it's easier to apply in the stick form. We make sure she gets a Greenie after so she doesn't lick too much of it off. I will continue to buy this to keep on hand forever!

We thought our dog always had a dirty knows from digging in the backyard, and did not realize it was dry and chapped. We figure it out it was dry and chapped so we wanted to try the snows butter and in less than a week her nose is back to its normal condition! We can’t believe how quickly it worked!

Wow this stuff is legit! My Boston Terrier gets a chapped dry nose during the rough New England winters. I’ve tried other popular products over the years to help and nothing really worked even as well as this did after one application. I’m super impressed and it’s TRULY UNSCENTED. Love that!! My dog always tried to lick off the other products or rub it off, and clearly hated the smell with his sensitive nose. Part of the reason I bought this was because I saw it was made in Minnesota and you just know those folks understand how to heal and protect a dry and chapped nose/skin from harsh winters.
