It's too bad because he liked this food a lot. But this morning he puked pure yellow which I'm guessing is all the veggies and pumpkin, it didn't agree with him at all. Plus I do not like the carrageenan. You'd think when enough people complain about that, the company would listen. But it's high in iodine which he can't have. Cats are getting hyperthyroidism at an alarming rate. Both of my cats have it. They don't need high levels of iodine in their food.
My two cats love this moist food and it is so good for them! The fiber in this food keeps their tummy happy and regular. One of my cats has a sensitivity to Chicken so was glad to see that this is an Indoor one protein food. Fantastic and everyone is happy.
One cat has chicken allergy. I've been using LID brand that has canola oil in it. One cat barfed a lot, the other had very loose stool. Found this brand uses flaxseed oil & they both like it, barfing & diarrhea went away after short time feeding this. After reading other reviews though, I'm concerned about the carageen issues others have. Will research & decide from that whether to try another brand.
I immediately pulled my cats from this food once I viewed a youtube video about cat food and nutrition from a reputable source. My top problem with this food is that it contains carrageenan, which can cause stomach and intestinal inflammation and cancer in cats. Also, ideally, the top 5 ingredients in a cat food should be meat; this is not the case with this food. Plus, the crude protein should be at least 10% and the crude fiber higher as well. I originally thought I had my cats on a "good" food, but learned otherwise.
I've been using this food for a few months now and it's been working great and my cats love it. It's been hard finding a turkey based food because a few of my cats have food allergies, but I've recently learned this food contains Carrageenan which can cause intestinal ulcerations and tumors. I'll be hunting for a different food it looks like.
My cats love this food and seem to enjoy eating it.
Chewy got my items to me promptly and in good condition. My cat thanks them for it as this is one of her favorite flavors!
My cat is allergic to chicken, so I need to look for foods that dont include chicken or chicken byproducts. She loves all of the available flavors and at a reasonable cost for me.
Two of my cats tend to have sensitive digestion that is why I decided to "try" this product. It has proven its worthiness. AND these kitties love TURKEY!!
My cat loves this food. It's the only food I've found that doesn't upset his skin and stomach but because the price continues to rise, I can no longer afford it leaving me to wonder just what I can do for him now. Greed is an ugly thing that hurts everyone.
