My cat has been worked up by her vet and a couple of specialists and we don’t know why she vomits. It might just be that because she has idiopathic rhinitis that is very difficult to treat, she seems to swallow a lot of mucous. She also had a weird rash along the insides and backs of her thighs. Our regular vet thought this was pretty classic food allergies. This food has helped 80% with that issue. She continues to vomit anywhere for 2-5 times a week, but she has regained the weight she lost while we were attempting to feed wet limited ingredient foods. Her teeth were perfect when she was seen this week, which was surprising because she was getting some tartar before and hasn’t had her teeth cleaned, so this food is good for her teeth. I took off one star because it seemed like the formula was different on the auto-shipped bag previous to the most recent one. It was lighter in color. She had some wet stools and we had to start Fortiflora, which helped that. I don’t want to change her food again, so I hope the formula wasn’t changed. She didn’t like any of the other hydrolyzed protein foods.
I am trying this to see if it will help with my cat that is a neurotic groomer. This causes fur loss on forearms and her whole underside. Just finished second bag. She’s grooming less, playing more and very affectionate, she’s a lap cat now! I chose this hydrolyzed food over the others on the market for what I believe are superior ingredients. Wish they would upgrade from canola oil though. Both cats had no issues switching to this food! Hope to add before and after photos on fur regrowth soon!
My cat, for a while, has been vomiting after eating. I took her to the vet and change her food to hydrolyzed and she is doing a lot better. She is 9 years old and has a sensitive stomach. I wish I had learn or the sooner.
the cat loves this food o he will eat it and dosent miss his old foods that he showed allergic reactions to some of their indg.
Helped our IBS cat with vomiting. (He was vomiting almost every day, multiple times per day.) He readily eats this. Unfortunately it causes him to have watery diarrhea. Don't think we can keep him on this long term, so searching for another food.
HF Hydrolyzed for Food Intolerance Grain-Free Dry Cat Food easy to digest, no vomiting, 4 cats and all like it.
We have to feed hydrolyded food - hard to get variety. The cat loved it.
My cat with IBS will eat this dry food. He does not like the Royal Canin brand which I assume is because it is soy protein.
My cat did like this dry food except the wet one not sure why
My cat has allergies, and this food was recommended by my vet. Wasn't sure whether it'd be acceptable to my cat because she has turned down so many other ones, but she actually liked it, thankfully!!
