Quality has decreased over time

I have been a longtime supporter of the Cheese Bones and have purchased them for years without issue. I currently have a six month old puppy, Jade, and I’ve purchased

I have been a longtime supporter of the Cheese Bones and have purchased them for years without issue. I currently have a six month old puppy, Jade, and I’ve purchased approximately three to four 3-packs size large for her. With my most recent delivery, one bone in the 3 pack arrived broken. Because I closely monitor size and safety, I immediately threw that one away knowing it was too small. I then gave Jade the second bone. She is never left unattended with chews, is not crated with them, and only has access to two sectioned off rooms in the house. Despite these precautions, Jade later became ill and required veterinary care. Major surgery for an obstruction.. A piece consistent with a Cheese Bone was surgically removed from her stomach. I am including a photo of what was taken out so other pet parents can see exactly what we are dealing with. I’m sharing this to raise awareness that breakage can occur and pieces may be swallowed even with supervision especially for puppies. Please use extra caution, inspect each bone thoroughly, and discontinue use immediately if there is any cracking or fragmentation. Nobody wants to go through what I have just been through the last two days!!! My heart and now we have a long road to recovery keeping a 6 month old baby down and inactive

Worry about breaking teeth

Savvy will flip the product around, then chew.

Savvy is new to my home and and approximately 4.5 years old. She seems to like the yak cheese bones over real bones. She plays with them before actually chewing

If we forget to give it to her, she goes out and gets it herself, but only in the evening. She won't bother it all day long because she knows it's her evening treat.
