Hello. Does this bone splinter a lot?

This is a weight bearing bone, so it is very hard and shouldn't splinter easily. However, pets should always be supervised when chewing treats. 
I gave this bone to my dog tonight. Should I freeze it in between chewing sessions? I am worried bacteria will grow on them.

These chews are safe to keep out at room temperature. The best by date is printed on the shrink wrap in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
Hi, I was wondering how long I can keep this before it goes bad? I have kept it in a dark and cool cabinet for about 4-months now. I am waiting for my GSD's 1st birthday to give to him. Will it be okay? Thanks.

The femur bone has a shelf life of 24 months.  The best by date should be printed on the shrink wrap in the MM/DD/YYYY format.

Great value

These bones are huge and are an excellent value. This is the second time I have bought these bones. I have found that they don’t splinter they don’t harm the dogs teeth and keep them entertained for a long time. The only reason I came back for more was because the first set I bought for Christmas and now in August it was about time to replace them with new. Highly recommend for large dogs , you will open the box and say Wow when you see the size of these bones and know how much you paid.

Too big and messy

My dog loved this bone more than anything we have ever tried. We eventually had to put it away and he was very unhappy. So unhappy that I fear giving it to him again because he will not give it up. This was Aberrant behavior for him. Hated to take away this bone but afraid of his intensity when chewing it.

Bone too big for my 80 lb. dog

It's sometimes hard to know what you are getting from an online picture. I perhaps should have realized that a cow femur would be enormous, but I didn't. It is so big that my dog doesn't really know what to do with it, despite the fact that I had a neighbor saw it into several pieces.

Fantastic bone!

I have been looking for something that my Cane Corso and English mastiff couldn’t tear up in less than an hour. These things lasted over a month!! I call that a huge win. They have been so focused on chewing these up that they don’t even bother trying to chew anything else in the house. Highly recommend these!

Perfect

This thing is huge. I ordered it for my two large dogs. When I opened the package, the top part of it broke off. But it wasn't a huge deal because I gave the smaller piece to my 60lb dog, and the large piece to my 80lb dog. They love it.

BUNBUN LOVE HIS BIG BONE

Our pup refused to eat it for 2 days but act extremely happy around it, probably because it’s so big to the point that it’s too good to be true LOL… or maybe he thought it’s human food not his food or maybe he thought he’s not supposed to eat from litter box… He finally started to enjoy eating it on the third day and loving it!! I recommend to put it in a container since there are so many small pieces. ( I used a new, clean litter box, works well!)
