Her FAVORITE - Just be careful

My dog is NOT food motivated, but the sight of these make her more excited than walks, car rides or play time. The first time she ate one, she started gagging -

My dog is NOT food motivated, but the sight of these make her more excited than walks, car rides or play time. The first time she ate one, she started gagging - I panicked and rushed to pull it from her. I've never seen her scramble away that fast LOL once she learned to CHEW instead if inhale (most of the time) I started to relax. Just know that there are different thicknesses. Small dogs may struggle with those girthy sections and try to swallow too large of a stringy bite and may gag. There are plenty of ultra thin ones in a bag so thats good. As for the rest, i may try taking pliers and snip them lengthwise. For now, I only pounce to grab it away if she heaves. Honestly, if these weren't her fav, I wouldn't put myself through the stress

My girls love these turkey tendons. I have mini dachshunds. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the size of some of these. They’re chunky and a little harder for smaller dogs to navigate. I think these are perfect for larger breeds. I gave the big pieces to my grand dogs who are much larger.
