Very dull

I have a 10 year old great pyr/shepherd mix with very thick nails (and all the double dewclaws too) and these do not work well for us at all. Requires so much pressure

I have a 10 year old great pyr/shepherd mix with very thick nails (and all the double dewclaws too) and these do not work well for us at all. Requires so much pressure to cut, almost need two hands. And the blade is quite dull. I’ve used these less than 10 times ever and the metal is breaking off in the middle of the blade. Also the safety guard moves around too easy, while you’re trying to cut.

I think another reviewer had mentioned that. It isn't a huge issue if you are able to easily control your pet. If they're wiggling around, be careful.

Barely wide enough for a Miniature Schnauzer's nails.

The clippers didn't feel very sturdy. I did get the back nails clipped but not with ease. I was glad that I found my lost green pair that I'd purchased from Chewy
