Wild Bird Food is a unique solution to bird watching woes because it helps keep squirrels out of your feeders. It's made with premium white millet for carbs and safflower seeds that are high in fat and oil for extra energy. The secret ingredient is chili pepper for a fiery hot taste that deters squirrels but doesn't bother birds that can't feel the spicy sensation. Squirrels also find the white safflower seeds to be bitter, so they'll surely stay away while wild birds enjoy a gourmet meal of natural ingredients.

I was disappointed in this product. The birds who swarm my front yard feeder ignored a great deal of the seed in this package. At the end of each day, at least a cup of uneaten millet ended up in my compost bin. It's too bad, because we always can use at least one or two reliable products that those happy rascals, the ever-hungry squirrels, won't eat.
Before we started ordering this birdseed, we had a mob of squirrels throwing the birdseed all around and emptying the feeders in just a few hours. Now, the squirrels know it's not for them. Our birds can feed in peace. We enjoy seeing Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Chickadees, Cardinals, Orioles, Doves, Wrens and Finches all come visit our feeders now.
