How many different birds loved this mix!

This bird food contains safflower seeds and all the birds in my area won't eat it, except for grackles. I've watched birds peck it out of the food and throw it on the ground. I purchased two bags of this food and have asked for a refund. Now, my birds are hungry. I have a sack of safflower seed that I tried years before to try to keep the house sparrows away. What it did was keep ALL of the birds away. I do not recommend this food. I sincerely hope I am quickly refunded so I can purchase some other kind of bird food that birds will actually eat.

My local birds were not drawn to this food. It was excellent looking food and as was described, but my local birds were not the type that ate it.

Love this blend - but bag is my problem!

Have been auto-ship ordering "Brown's Bird Lover's Blend Nuts, Berries & Bugs!" for 2 years now and love the blend and ease of it through the feeder portals, other brands have larger stuck-together berries that clog the feeder holes. BUT when pouring into the feeder, the bag is shaped to be very good looking and colorful etc, but it has corners and creases, especially at the opening, where a lot comes out differently and has to be shaken or the bag re-shaped in hold while trying to pour it's contents. I lose a lot (this is not cheap for me) and usually some gets dropped into the ground...just wish a better packaging could be more efficient for pouring.

No artificial flavor added!

This has a great mix of seed, berries, nuts, and dried mealworms/bugs. I also choose this birdseed because there is no artificial flavor like some of the other brands

This has a great mix of seed, berries, nuts, and dried mealworms/bugs. I also choose this birdseed because there is no artificial flavor like some of the other brands out on the market. Birds do not eat artificial flavors out in the wild. I only purchase bird seed with no artificial flavors. Read list of ingredients before purchasing. Artificial flavor is usually the last ingredient listed.
