These black Sunflower seeds the birds love it! I put two feeders out- a tube feeder and and a Pennington platform feeder hanging on a shepherd pole. I get all kinds of little birds: finches, titmouse, chickadees, cardinals, nuthatchers, little downy woodpecker, and others;) They all love these sunflower seeds. I even put some in my other flat feeder out back.
There are lots of brands out there -- this one, Wagner, Pennington, Audobon Park, etc. All more or less alike and all very popular with birds. Nothing wrong with this one.
I got this for my daughter ,plus lots of bags of cat and dog food. She has many rescues that are hungry and need homes. So I do what I can and Chewys the best! Fast delivery, great prices, and hard to find 30-44 lb bags! Plus the shipping is free!
Every bird coming to our feeders make sure they get their fill of the Black Oil Sunflower seeds.
All the birds love this seed. Even the piloted woodpecker
Yes, my ladies, Bantam chickens, only get the best. I add these to their feed everyday and, of course, they love them! Good source of nutrition for them especially through the winter and cold weather season!
these sunflower seeds attract every bird imaginable. if you like birds this is the stuff to buy.
I have cardinals and finches at my feeders regularly, and they prefer the sunflowers to any kind of seed blend. I have been adding these sunflowers into my seed blend until I use up the whole bag of seed blend, at which time I will likely only order the sunflower seeds going forward.
Blue Jays, Cardinals, Woodpeckers, Grackles and squirrels love it (but, the shells left behind are messy). If I’m going to feed my backyard critters, cleaning up behind them is just part of the package.
The birds love it! They gobble these seeds up. They seem to enjoy this type better than the striped seeds.
