Great bedding

Bedding has great absorption and easy clean up, plus love the bright colors. The guinea pigs get so excited when they see fresh bedding!

Not impressed

Second time this has happened. What appears to be Stuffing with small pieces of plastic embedded in it and a bag tie.

Best for the $$

Best bedding by far for the money, the colors camouflage the waste, so cage looks clean most the time.. it is easy to remove when cleaning and very absorbent, there is virtually no smell in the cage. We will stick with this brand for good

HedgeHog approved

I bought this for my hedgehog who I think is currently pregnant, she seems to be so comfortable in this new bedding. It is also easy for her to move around to make her a nest. I love the colors!!! Gives some pop to her cage as well. It also does not make my allergies act up like regular shavings do. I wish they had a bigger bag but otherwise I really like it.

Strangly crunchy?

I like the colors. But the only thing that I don’t like is that this bedding is hard and stiff. Compared to kaytee, I would prefer kaytee’s for the softness and the amount it comes with, especially since it expands by ALOT. But if you really want this, what you can do is mix it with another bedding that’s soft so your hamster is at least comfortable. Also my package came with slashes and holes in them?

Used Carefresh for Years

I have pet rats and have used the Carefresh. I like it for several reasons. It is soft and easy for the rats to move and tunnel in. I can spot clean areas that are damp or dirty. I find there is no smell and I can go a week with out exchanging it. I have used many colors but Sea Glass is my favorite.

Issues with the package

I usually buy only care fresh bedding for our Guinea pigs however I do it at a local pet store. My first time having it shipped and the 50L bag was split open at the seam so upon taking it out of the box, bedding went everywhere! Crazy mess and I had to vacuum most of it which means I can’t use it.

Smelled like vomit

Normally our csrefresh bedding is great. But this particular scent/model made our house smell like vomit.
