Can this be used for tropical or cichlids

Florida Crushed Coral is good for any freshwater application when a pH of 8.2, or thereabouts, is desired. This makes it perfect for African Cichlids. This would also mean that it would not be ideal for a general community tank.

Can this product be used in a koi pond with a liner?

This product can be used with Koi and is good at maintaining hardness and pH which can be difficult to maintain in some pond situations.

Is this appropriate to use for live-bearing tropical fish such as guppies and mollies?

Be Careful

I'm very concerned this coral contained parasites. I have an established tank that has had no issues and I added a cup of very well rinsed coral and a few days later

I'm very concerned this coral contained parasites. I have an established tank that has had no issues and I added a cup of very well rinsed coral and a few days later a fish is covered in brown spots, dead. I didn't think too much about it but sure enough a few weeks later I add a cup or 2 of the coral and bam, a few days later a dead fish with brown spots...

Size of the substrate

The size of the substrate is almost the size of gravel...exactly what I was looking for great for sps tanks as it doesn't get blown around from high flow.

Crushed coral looks nice good product.

I've been struggling with Ph forever; I think is going to help a lot. Good consistency, blends nicely with other travels, good mix of softer and harder organisms

Pay attention to detail

I screwed up by not reading all of the details. I bought 4 bags and can't use them. I need a bed for my saltwater tank. I can't use these in saltwater. Now I'm stuck

I screwed up by not reading all of the details. I bought 4 bags and can't use them. I need a bed for my saltwater tank. I can't use these in saltwater. Now I'm stuck with 2 unopened bags that I can't use. The other 2 bags, I opened and will by tossing them outside. I'm sad.

Great inbetween dirt and sand
