Had a problem with mold on the soil. How can I prevent that?
Answer by ChewyJan 21, 2020
These Organic seeds are very resistant to mold due to their quick germination period however mold can be caused by either overwatering or too dark of a location. For the best results, use water only as needed and keep in a well lit area.

Easy to grow!

I have two containers going at once, one in my kitchen window and one in my sunroom. All three cats eat grass every day! They love it. I wait four or five days after the seeds start growing before I give them to the cats. Then i start another pot two weeks later - so there's always a good batch of grass.

Very easy to grow, robust greens, save money

I enjoyed little gardening activity with these seeds in a small pot that came from the store-bought cat grass, which was around $6, and didn't look vigorous anymore, and died soon. These seeds are easy to grow, and the plants look healthy and nutritious, and you can save money by having many seeds in a package.

We love it

The grass was easy to grow and my cat loves it. He has been munching on it for a few days and has not pulled it up. Not sure how long one pot will last but since it grows in a week to ten days it should be easy to replace.

My cat loves this cat grass

I live in an apartment, so my Nina is an indoor cat. We have tried many brands of cat grass, but this is far and away Nina’s favorite. She nibbles at it off and on, and rubs her face on it. She’ll just next to the plant, sniffs it and rubs her face in it. She doesn’t just eat it, she enjoys it. I’m glad I can give her such obvious pleasure!

Cat love it!

These seeds work great, they always sprout reliably and are easy to grow. All of my cats love the grass. I have started growing it in a clean litter box because they like to lie on the grass.

High quality stuff

Love these! The quality is consistent and the grass grows high and very lush green. My cats and fosters go crazy for them. Best at 5-6 days and I recommend using clear plastic bowls to better control soil volume and prevent over watering. Highly recommended! But I would break the really long stalks in half during feeding because some long strings get caught in their poop and they drag their booty to try to remove it. Also reassuring to know that it's organic. The photo shows an old batch and the new one ready to serve!

My cats love it

All the seeds sprout & it grows quickly. My cats really enjoy it! it is a bit expensive, that is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5

Don't bother

Tried unsuccessfully twice to get it to grow. Followed directions exactly. NOTHING. Also tried as others have suggested to soak seeds in paper towel and warm water to sprout...NOTHING. I used Miracle Grow potting soil, new peat seed pots...NOTHING. Got one tiny shoot from two pots and then NOTHING. Waste of time, money, effort. Wanted to give this a MINUS ONE STAR.

Not seeds you would try to grow soil less, I used a simple bowl (no holes) with potting soil, soaked the soil well, sprinkled few heaping tablespoons of The Cat Ladies seeds. The saturated bowl with soil had so much water the seeds had no problem sprouting & growing. Picture after 8 days

wow that was fast

I was shocked of how fast and easy this catnip grows. After only 8 days, it has grown to almost 7 inches.
