That's why you might spot your pet chewing grass in your lawn—or even munching on your houseplants. Trouble is, they're often treated with chemicals and can be toxic to animals. With a proprietary blend of wheat, oats, rye, barley and flax, this bed of greens will be safe for your pal to snack on. Best of all, the kit comes with everything you need to grow the perfect bed of grass in your own home. They didn't make this kit exclusively for their feline friends. Dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and reptiles can enjoy munching on the fruit—or the grass—of your labor within 4-5 days of planting! It's a healthy treat made by pet lovers, for pet lovers.

Organic Wheat Seed, Organic Rye Seed, Organic Oat Seed, Organic Barley Seed, Organic Flax Seed.
Feed to your pet as a healthy reward or snack. Adjust the serving size according to the size of your pet. If your pet is hesitant to eat the grass from the planter, you can try cutting some pieces up and putting it with their food, or some pets even prefer to eat the bits from the floor. You can spritz the grass with water or hide a treat in the grass to encourage feeding.
1) Add soil contents to planter
2) Add enough warm (not hot) water to fully moisten the soil (about 5 or 6 ounces)
3) After water absorbs, stir soil and allow to sit for about 10 minutes
4) Fluff soil and remove about 2-3 tbsp. soil and set aside.
5) Sprinkle seeds evenly over soil
6) Cover seeds with 1/8-inch soil and gently press soil over seeds
7) Place planter in a warm, semi dark area (just away from direct light, not in complete darkness as it may cause mold). NOTE: For faster results cover planter loosely with plastic wrap just until first sprouts appear (no longer than 1-2 days)
8) After sprouts appear or no more than two days, remove plastic wrap and move to a sunny location
9) Keep soil moist until grass reaches 3 inches. Check moisture daily. Once established: do not over water.
10) In about 4-7 days, once grass reaches about 4-5 inches it is ready to feed to your pet.

Best pet grass I've found!
By Bella28234 on Feb 6, 2021
I planted mine on a Friday morning and by Sunday evening I had 2 inches of grass. My pets love it! It's nearly as tall as my cat 1 week in and she can't get enough. Other brands I've tried in the past, when the cat tries to eat the grass they just pull it all out, dirt and all. Not this one! The root system is really good so when she pulls on it to eat the grass, just the grass comes out!

Yummy to my tummy!
By Chuco on Feb 19, 2021
My Mommy bought this grass for me! She followed the easy directions, and it was ready in a couple of days. At first I wasn't sure what to do with it, but then I tasted a piece and YUM! She said every kitty should try it. (And it did not upset my tummy at all)

2 out of 3 approve!
By Kirsten on Jan 12, 2021
I really like this kit! Instructions were easy to follow and it grew nice and fast. I'm used to having cat grass in my garden but this was a nice treat for them mid winter. Lili went nuts for it even before I put it down for them. Simba wasn't sure until I cut it and put some catnip with it. Josie still isn't sure but is circling periodically lol! If nothing else, it's a nice plant to keep on my desk. Will buy refills for sure!

Success for grass eater!
By Catmomma on Feb 13, 2021
Easy to follow instructions and the grass grew just as it was supposed to. I have 3 furry felines, but only one is a big fan of this grass. She’s also the one who eats houseplants, though, so hopefully this cat grass will keep her away from them.

Cat grass 3-pack
By Tish on Jan 15, 2021
I love having cat grass for my cats because they occasionally have sick bellies and the cat grass really does help that plus my one cats loves to go outside and eat grass and lay in it but she can’t do that in winter so I was very happy to find this. I got the 3 pack because I have a tendency to over water the grass and it molds and it was very easy to follow the directions.

Terrible quality product
By CatFancier on Jan 7, 2021
Having read reviews by other pet owners, I should not have ordered this. Product is of least quality possible. Grass is an odd variety and inedible to my cats. Grass is so tough, even a kitten could not bite any off. Chewy apparently does not have a Quality Control program to vet products like this before being offered for sale. Extremely disappointing.

Hold me down
By Loki on Dec 11, 2020
This wheatgrass grows beautifully and Loki loves it so much! It seems to need to be planted in a pot directly for the weight to hold it down as kitty pulls at it. The plastic planter isn't enough to keep it from going over.

It's Easy & Fun
By heirloommaker on Oct 12, 2020
We live in NM, which is desert like. My animals did not know what to think of GRASS! LOL! Most dog parks also dirt. We have dirt & rocks in our yard. They haven't eaten the grass (dogs, cat) but they are curious and around it and sit by it. Oh, the chickens will eat it if I clip it which I have several times in 2 weeks. It has been fun just watching. It took literally a day for sprouts to come up.
