Got this puzzle toy for my cats. My two males were instantly interested as I made a few treats fall out of it. My 1 year old loves it and is diligently trying to figure it out. It works like a weeble and when it rolls to a specific side it let's a treat fall out. He hit it hard enough to get own to fall out but it is heavy and takes a lot to make it fall over. He got one treat out on his own. It works best if batted from the top. Good quality toy and has the ability to change the opening size to accommodate different size treats. I used crunchy temptations to start with for them. This will be good for cats that really like to smack things around. Hard plastic so it might break if knocked into the floor from a high place.

I bought this to give my antsy cat an activity, and to encourage him to leave his dry food til after he finishes his wet food. He and I have both figured it out, but it’s taken some practice for each of us! On my end, the toy has three pieces that all have to be fit together simultaneously (while filled with food) in order to close securely, which is a little tricky. For my cat, the weighted bottom makes it a little harder for him to manipulate since just pushing it with his paw barely does anything - he kind of has to get the angle/force just right to make it tip rather than just scoot along the floor. It can be especially hard for him to get the last 1/2 tsp or so of food out. Not as intuitive as I’d expected for either of us, but I’m keeping it since we both seem to be figuring it out after some trial and error (lol).

My cats like it. They have other treat dispensers/puzzles. I like the size of this one. It holds a good amount of food/treats. I especially like that the hole for treats can be adjusted for size to make them work a little harder. It wasn’t the immediately obvious how to connect the base to the main body, and there were no assembly instructions.

I think this product has potential. It is easy to open and clean, it wobbles to help the treat dispense, and it could keep a cat entertained for a while. That being said, my cat did not get the hang of this product. I had to knock the rooster to make the treats come out. I know many kitties will enjoy it, but its intended purpose did not work for us. I think the concept of this treat dispenser is great, but you have to really fill it up for the cat to have any chance of getting a treat out. Maybe if the inside compartment was rounded to help the treats fall towards the opening it would work more easily. For reference, I only tried this with one cat and she is only 8lbs 8 oz fully grown. I think a larger cat would have a much easier time with it. I wish I had another cat to try it out on, but I would say if you have a smaller cat it may not work for them.

I received the Catit PIXI Rooster Treat Dispensing Cat Toy free from Chewy. It is a really cute little toy. The hole that dispenses the treats is angled toward the bottom of the toy, the cat just bats at it and it will rock causing a treat or two to come out. The toy is colorful (reddish color) and made of durable plastic. It comes apart easily to add the treats, but stays securely closed during play. I did have to show my kitten what it does as first, but after that she loved it. She bats it around even when it's empty.

I presented this to my 2 senior cats first. Both of them enjoy treats, so I thought this would be good for enrichment. Neither were interested. I tried adjusting the easiness of it, and wobbling it for them to try to garner interest. They just don't seem to like it. I then introduced it to our kitten, he was a little more receptive to it. He played with it a little, got 2 treats out, struggled to find them, and then lost interest. I think it's a cute treat dispenser, perhaps a more wobbly design would have bern better, but I just don't see it as being that practical for my cats. Perhaps a more playful cat would enjoy it.

So I really wanted to love this. I think the design is cute. I like the adjustable opening for different treat sizes. The opening to put the treats is nice and big. However the negatives just don’t out weigh the positives. The biggest negative is that neither of my cats could get a single treat out. The problem is the weight on the bottom of it is so heavy that you have to specifically hit the very top of the toy pretty hard to make it bobble to get treats out. My cats were pushing it with their noses, hitting the bottom and middle but like I said the weight is too heavy. Very sad, it’s a cute idea but just too heavy for cats I think.

This little rooster treat dispenser, does everything it advertises, but my cats don't really care about it, at all. It doesn't really wobble much, but the treats do fall out very easily. I have a similar toy that dispenses catnip, and it REALLY wobbles back and forth, and has a dangly feather thing at the top that flies around as it wobbles. My cats love that toy. Unfortunately this little rooster doesnt really wobble, and my cats just don't understand they're supposed to play with it 🤷‍♀️

Fun toy and good enrichment

This toy has been very entertaining for my food motivated boys! It's nice to set it out and give them some enrichment if I'm busy or if they're wanting attention

This toy has been very entertaining for my food motivated boys! It's nice to set it out and give them some enrichment if I'm busy or if they're wanting attention that I can't give at that moment. It's decent sized and can hold a good amount of treats/food. If I only had one cat, this would be a great slow feeder!
