The kittens are not quite ready for spinning the fish, so I start by tossing treats into the center bowl and they start learning how to fish out food instead of always just eating the pieces out of a bowl. Actually a big deal for the little scamps (I wonder if they feel the pride I do... hmm). I also put food into the holes in the plastic fish. Note: With small pieces, like most kibble, if you want only one or two to fall out at once, don't put more than five or six into the fish. Otherwise like four will fall out. With bigger pieces, like some treats, it should work better. So like this bigger cylinder salmon treat I have takes a long time to come out, by itself. But I guess the idea is to fill the whole fish with larger than typically small kibble pieces and then they will shove out one at a time like that. The other cool thing was how it fit perfectly on my circular-pyramid-toy-with-balls-that-go-around toy (whatever that's called) by a different make! Dig toy makers into universal fittings now. That's what I'm talking about, man.

Not sure who it is meant for but it wasn’t designed or tested with cats in mind. There is no friction on the bottom of the toy stand to have it hold to the floor, so the cat will try to get the treats from the bowl and it just moves away from them. Same when they go to try spin the fish, just would slide away. It’s also very tricky to clean. I originally purchased this for a foster cat activity and I like to clean deeply between cats and I found it so tricky to clean. I ended up soaking it in cleaning solution but wish it felt cleaner. Would recommend! Get the treat ball dispenser instead

my cat is obsessed with this thing. he wants to eat treats 24/7. he sits at the cabinet and begs for more kibble. but when this fish is full, he is happy. he is not smart enough to get the kibble out of this very quickly which is also good because when he eats too fast he simply doesnt chew. he is also too lazy to complete most kibble puzzles. this thing keeps him entertained and slows down his eating!

My cat loves treat dispenser toys she bats around and puzzles too. I thought this would be perfect but it is too lightweight and keeps getting knocked over. I held it and when the treat dispensed to the bottom she had a lot of problems getting it out. She kept nudging with her nose but could not reach it. Too bad since in theory it’s a fun item. My cat may just to be too treat aggressive. Haha

I had such high hopes for this interactive dispenser in using it with teeth cleaning treats for my feline and make it fun for her. The concept is great, however the design needs to be adjusted. The height between the bowl and the fish shaped dispenser is way too short and there is no way to re-adjust to make it higher. My cat is fairly small and she cannot get her head under the fish shaped dispenser to eat her treats. I can't imagine why the designer didn't realize this and increase the space between them. The food comes out sparingly as the fish is spun and it's easy to fill. But it's of no use since my cat can't access the bowl. I believe even a kitten wouldn't be able to either. Need to add more height for he fish to add clearance for a cat to access the bowl and this would be a great item.

Much smaller than anticipated. I have two 12lbs cats and this is kitten sized compared to their size. Also, there’s nothing to secure it to the floor so it moves around when they play with it. However, they get treats out of it by swiping it off the plate. They cannot nuzzle the food out with their mouth as their head is too big for the toy.

It doesn’t spin easily at all :[

Needless to say my cat lost interest. It requires Too much pressure to make it spin. My cat won’t do that. It’s like it needs WD40 to spin. & yes sadly treats don’t

Needless to say my cat lost interest. It requires Too much pressure to make it spin. My cat won’t do that. It’s like it needs WD40 to spin. & yes sadly treats don’t fall out well if it’s not that full. Thinking I’m gonna just donate this item to goodwill. Maybe better used for a dog with heavier paws :[

Since the start the fish has never really spun smoothly and I would need to have it start with the holes closer to the bottom so my cat can make it turn quickly to get treats before she lost interest. I would also need to be holding the toy down since it does not click properly to my tower track. The stand alone design is also not that great since my cat will knock it over trying to make the fish spin when it’s so stiff. So I am always holding it down for her to even be able to play with it and not knock it over

I can see how it would be fun but my cat protests it. The food doesn’t fall out well if it isn’t full. When it gets low, she can spin it around and around and the food won’t come out. It’s also a little challenging to spin so I don’t think she enjoys it. She uses all her other puzzle toys but this one she refuses at this point.

This did not fit into my Infinity ball track like advertised, the hole was too big and it doesn't click in. The base that it comes with it does click into, but immediately falls over when the cat touches it. I ended up using tape on the bottom of the ball track so that it stays in and the cat can't knock it over, and it's cute so I gave two stars. I saw another reviewer say it doesn't click into the Infinity track too, so I don't think it was just a fluke. And it's not worth having without the track because it falls over so easy... Salvageable with duct tape but not ideal.
