My pet hasn’t even played with it yet. The item description does admit there are no batteries included. However, I didn’t have AAA at home; my fault. But getting the battery box open was the kind that needs a miniature screwdriver. Also, getting the box out of the velcro opening has loosened the velcro. After I get AAA batteries, I’ll need to screw the box closed with tiny screws.

She Loves the Little Wiggle

Similar to the wiggling fish this caterpillar is smaller and more suited for a smaller pet DOG. My dog loves this toy.

Hi, so I bought this product excited for my cats to try it out. My boyfriend tried it out first with the cats and noticed the caterpillar tail was moving slower than it probably should, so he replaced the batteries with new ones. We thought this solved the issue. Couple days later we noticed the toy not moving at all, even after we manually touched it to hopefully move. My cats loved this toy prior to its defective use. Wish it was better quality.

I have to drop it from 3 ft in the air to get it to move. The sensor I guess is not very effective because I have to slam it down to get it to start moving. As long as it keeps moving my cat likes it but I can't keep slamming it down all day.

The sensor to trigger the wiggle movements requires me to slam the toy or slap it really hard--beyond what my cat could ever output....and he plays very hard. It would have been better if the sensor was a little more sensitive and the movement wasn't so mechanical. I was hoping that the movement was actually more of a worm wiggle than a hinge just going back and forth. Because of these two things my cat lot interest after 1 minute and never touches it.

Took it out of the package, put in beans new batteries, turned it on, it wiggled, put it on the floor for the cat, and it never moved again. Took the batteries back out to confirm they were in correctly, turned it on again, and nothing. Major disappointment. I used to trust Chewy quality. :(
