How do I collect my dogs urine?

I found at Walmart what is called measuring cups that are actually spoon shaped and have long handles. Works like a charm. The cat never knows I am even there. I have used this on both male and female cats

Just to be sure, does the test strip need to be submerged up to the Leukocytes square only? Does the urine get soaked up through the whole strip?

Fully submerge the testing strip square into a urine sample for 2 seconds. After waiting exactly 30 seconds or 60 seconds depending on the parameter, compare your color result next to the color legend to identify your result.

does this test show the full range for ph levels?

The CE-grade diagnostic testing strips identify levels of urobilinogen, glucose, bilirubin, ketone, specific gravity, blood, pH, protein, nitrite, and leukocytes. Depending on your result, the color legend will identify what the pH level is.

at home monitoring for anxious parents

this was great because i was able to keep an eye on my dogs urine from home. twice a week i would test her morning urine, and if there were any changes I would call

this was great because i was able to keep an eye on my dogs urine from home. twice a week i would test her morning urine, and if there were any changes I would call her vet for a proper urinalysis. this is not a magic cure, but it does help give you an idea if something is changing. my dog had CKD and my biggest worry was that i wouldn’t notice she was getting worse. i was able to keep a close eye on her with the help of her very patient and wonderful vet team. these strips just gave me a peace of mind.

I've been using the human urine keto test strips to test my diabetic cat's keto status. He went through a series of health issues recently, including kidney issue and UTI, which are both very common in diabetic patients. This test kit doesn't replace a full urinalysis but it will give me enough information to decide whether or not a vet visit is necessary. Highly recommended for all senior pet parents.
