happy pups
I dog sit several puppers and this was a game changer when throwing ball with them. I get the distance that I would not be able to do with my arm and they have a blast. The ball is sturdy with a great bounce factor and the launcher is made well and compact when folded.
Balls of Fire!!
Border and Yorkie both have endless hours of playing with Fetch/Launcher. So far they have not included us in the private fun. All's well as long as they have fun! Good product.--- Swede & Finn
Can throw further with my arm
Dont buy this. The stick isnt flexible at all and it doesnt throw a ball far, I can throw further with my arm. I buy a ton of chuckit products and was excited to have a more compact version of the regular launcher but this was a waste of money and a disappointment
Love this version!
We've currently own the short and full size chuck-it's and are partial to the full size version for much better throwing action and range. I was hesitant to purchase this model based on mixed reviews, but we are very happy with it! The throwing action is very similar to the fixed normal size model (easy to throw the right ball 100+ yards), and we love how easy this version is to pocket or throw in a backpack. It seems fairly well built and we hope it withstands the test of time. Overall, well worth the ~$9.
Does the job
My hound is not usually much for fetching but she goes crazy over the launcher so I ordered this compact one. She loves chasing the ball, folds up easily and perfect for the beach.
Love the Stick, Hate the Ball
So far, the launcher is a keeper. But the fuzzy faux tennis ball is a dud. One chomp from one of my dogs and it is toast. Why not specify that stick be packaged with Chuck-It Ultra rubber ball?
Great Toy 4 Me
Had since I was 8 wks old, now 6 mths, and my humans love using it to excerise me. Fur dad likes to fold it and put in his back pocket when we walk.
Design flaw
This is the first Chewy item I’m disappointed in. Loved the feature of the folding aspect, I can hide it in my sweatshirt pocket and my crazy pooch doesn’t jump in anticipation of playing fetch while we finish our walk. However the design is flawed, it is difficult to use a normal throwing motion to launch the tennis ball. It just feels unbalanced.
It's compact but...
Sure it works, but the original works better. I thought it would be nice to have a more compact version of the Chuckit! launcher as a spare, but I wish I had just ordered another of the original.
Best 1 out of all chuckits
I ordered this for camping trips for ease of packing, worked amazingly well for our ball crazy dog. With the truck it I could wear my pup out way quicker than throwing it by hand and I can throw far. I accidentally left it at someone's house and bought three other kinds of chuckits (all non collapsible) and none of them was as good as this one, so, I'm buying another one to replace the forgotten one. Just make sure to double check that the middle clip deal is secure, it won't throw if it's not extended correctly. Best invention ever! Seems to throw further and easier to use than all the other chuckits and knock-off versions... and it folds down which perfectly fits in her go bag.
