I couldn't give this a five star because our Standard Poodle actually got it to separate! He has a strong bite! The boxer and Notaboxer's stayed together but it made me a bit nervous that Indy got his in two pieces. The dogs would give it 5 stars for taste though. I don't know. I didn't try it myself. It smelled delicious though!

Elbow bones on autoship were substantially smaller than bones delivered when purchased separately, thus negating the benefits of the lower cost. They must have a special bin for autoship orders where they keep the smaller bones for auto shippers. The bones are great otherwise, safe for the dogs. I would recommend, but don't recommend auto-ship.

My dog loved it but.....

My dog (lab & husky mix) is an aggressive chewer, he loved this bone. I had to take it away because none shards were breaking off. The pieces were 1-2inches long

My dog (lab & husky mix) is an aggressive chewer, he loved this bone. I had to take it away because none shards were breaking off. The pieces were 1-2inches long and I didn't want them to get stuck in his throat or digestive system. I'll stick to the mammoth sized bones with him for now on. I suggest this for smaller dogs that can't bite off big pieces of bone shards.
