This has to be my favorite food to put out for the birds! I purchased the Sunflower Suet Nuggets and the Woodpecker Suet Nuggets along with a few of the C & S Wild Bird Nugget Bird Feeder. The feeders have held up well to the squirrels trying to eat the nuggets. I add a handful of nuggets to the platform feeders for the cardinals and the blue jays. Hardly any mess at all. And what pieces might hit the ground are picked up the the ground eating birds. Great products!

I was initially disappointed when the Nugget Feeders were ignored by the birds, but now I see that they are being eaten by most birds. My only difficulty was in trying to place those perches in the feeders. I couldn't get them secured properly, so I finally gave up. I placed the feeders closer to branches of the lilac shrubs where most birds can now peck at the nuggets if they can't grip onto the feeder itself.

Disappointed

Have this about 2 months now and using C&S Nugget Feeder with less that reasonable results. Birds are not bothering with it but are still eating up the regular suet blocks. After about 2 weeks I dump it on the ground and put in fresh. It's disappearing on the ground, not sure if ground feeders like doves are eating it or if it's just breaking down. Too expensive to just throw on the ground.

Good value and quality.

Ideal for outdoor feeding. I put this in large food grade plastic tubs and dole it out to the critters after raccoons stole one.. two.. three.. yes, and more.

A few months ago I put a feeder outside my kitchen window and have been feeding a lot of birds. I recently tried adding these nuggets to the feeder for winter and the birds love them. They eat them so fast. They don't melt in the rain either. I was happy to see this large size box, it's a good value.

A combination of the suet nuggets, sunflower seeds, and shelled peanuts in our fly-through feeders have not been as popular as just sunflower and mixed seed we previously put out. Trying to attract the cardinals, woodpeckers and winter birds, but not much activity. Don't think I'll purchase this again.

Make sure to specify CAREFUL packing, especially if you are buying other stuff on the same order. I bought this, an 8-lb box of suet, and a toy all together. Very quick delivery, but when I opened the box there was bird seed EVERYWHERE. The 10-lb bag had exploded inside. Well as soon as I opened it seeds went flying everywhere. Big mess. The box of suet was covered in seed dust and I had to dig to find the toy. Dug out all the seed I could, it’s flying all over my floor, and of course there’s even more seed stuck between the box flaps so I had to get the box outside to the lobby for recycling and of course breaking it down made seeds fly everywhere in the lobby, and inside the trash chute. And had to break out the vacuum for a floor I had just cleaned the day before. Nasty.
