Great medicated shampoo, can be safely used for a number of skin issues. Great for occasional bathing to prevent skin issues.
I originally bought this for my guinea pigs when one had a fungus-y toenail, and it helped clear it up (dry your piggy completely after bathing). The LA Guinea Pig Rescue actually uses this shampoo to treat and prevent ringworm! Then recently my dog's skin allergies flared up so badly that she had a big scabby patch on her chest where she kept scratching and a few other red/irritated spots, so I gave her a bath using this shampoo and another brand's oatmeal conditioner. Her fur looks so nice, and the scabby spot has almost completely healed after a few days when weeks of using a topical cream had done nothing. This relieved her itching so well, and I'm excited to continue using it to manage her skin allergies.
The best shampoo for dogs that have yeast and skin issues I was my furry son with dawn dish soap first then use this scrub him up all over in all of his arm crack and between his feet anywhere they his skin can get yeasty and let it sit for 7 mins and rinse him he feels great smells great and his skin really heals good with it. Just have to wash him about every two week so his skin doesn’t go back to being bad again.
Our Yorkie was obsessive about chewing his paws. It became a bad habit. So our vet recommended Davis Miconazole Dog & Cat Shampoo. So far so good. Our groomer bathed him and he was so soft and smelled great. We will continue to use the shampoo.
Bought with the spray and is wonderful!!! Has tried so many other products, etc but this with the spray has been GREAT!!! My brithers dog finally got a decent night's rest without itching/crying.
I bathed my skin- troubled boy with this three times, hoping it would work better over time. It did not for us. He smells yeasty and itches like the dickens. You can pull tiny tufts of fur off of him and there is a patch of dead skin that comes with it. Perhaps it will work for your fur baby. It just didn't work for mine.
Only used it twice so far but my dogs multiple ringworm patches are no longer red and raised! My vet recommended I get the Lyme sulfur dip but I couldn't logistically figure out how to use it since it's winter and I can't let my dog air dry outside! So glad I found this product! Will be using every other day for a few more weeks to make sure it's all gone!
BOUGHT THIS SOLUTION FOR MY CAT, WORKS GREAT AND FAST, I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO TAKE HIM A BATHE I JUST RUB SOME OF IT ON THE SPOTS AND THEY WERE GONE! MY DAUGHTER CAUGHT THE RING WORMS AS WELL AND HAD A BALD, SCALY SPOT WHERE THE RING WORM HAD SPREAD RUB SOME ON THE SPOT,IT IMMEDIATELY CLEARED THE DRYNESS AND SCALNESS, AND IN HOURS THE SPOT LOOKED BETTER!
Best shampoo for my dog with environmental allergies. Helps with bumps that Bully breeds have a tendency to get. Smells good too!
This shampoo has been a big help! I have a senior, white dog who has had a consistent problem with yeast. From the first time I used this shampoo on her she stopped licking her paws. And it leaves her clean and fluffy as well. Definitely our new shampoo!
