This soap-free formula contains ceramides that aid in moisturizing, repairing, and restoring dry, damaged skin. DermaBenSs' active ingredient, 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide provides antimicrobial, keratolytic, comedolytic (follicular flushing), and degreasing actions while 1% Salicyclic Acid provides keratoplastic, keratolytic, antibacterial, antifungal and antiparasitic benefits.

Can this be used as a regular shampoo? Didn’t realize it was medicated until after I got it.

Wish it was fragrance free, Seems to give relief to the dog

While this product seems to give our itchy dog some relief, I cannot give it 5 or even 4 stars because it is SO DARN PERFUMED. I wish it was available in a fragrance

While this product seems to give our itchy dog some relief, I cannot give it 5 or even 4 stars because it is SO DARN PERFUMED. I wish it was available in a fragrance free option. I hate strong fragrances and this has a strong fragrance, though I'm lucky it doesn't make ME itch, like a lot of lab-made perfumes do. Right now my daughter bathes the dog; I don't know what I'm going to do when she moves out because I CAN'T STAND having that scent on me and, poor dog, I avoid him for a few days after he has been bathed, and he needs it once per week. It's not the best, not the worst.

Works great on our goldendoodle

Our goldendoodle does not scratch as much and when he tries to pick at an area, I wash that area with this shampoo every other day and he stops. I also bath him

Our goldendoodle does not scratch as much and when he tries to pick at an area, I wash that area with this shampoo every other day and he stops. I also bath him with it between grooming appointments and get the groomer to use this shampoo.

Best shampoo for my Collie

My Rough Collie has seasonal skin allergies and this shampoo keeps it in check. She only needs a full bath every 6 weeks instead every 2 weeks! The smell is nice

Works well for cats with mild skin infections

This seems to work well on my cats, particularly ones with mild skin infections. I bathe my cats once a year to help get out shedding hair.
