after applying this product, is it okay to let the dog play with other dogs? some ticks topical prevention requires pets separation for first 24 hrs. Wondering if this product requires similar condition.

To maximize the efficacy of this treatment after application, it is important to keep the product on the skin of the animal. Therefore if by playing with other dogs, the area where the product is applied might be licked or scratched away by others, it is indeed recommended not to let that happen. Therefore, it would be optimal to separate the treated dog from other dogs for half a day or for convenience, the product can also be applied before sleeping.
When I put this on my dog, some of the oil got on her coat as well. Is this okay or is the product wasted?

It's okay if some of the product gets on the coat and not wasted as long as it's used as directed. Do not bathe your pet 2 days before/after the application.
Can I use 2 packets on a 145lb dog?
