    Not half bad

By Hagar on Jan 14, 2021

Vet suggested this product for my Cavie's dry skin. It seems to have reduced/eliminated his scratching significantly, whereas fish oil capsules did not have any effect. Price through Chewy was half what the vet charged.

It takes time, but it works

By Stephanie on Nov 16, 2020

We adopted a dog with dry flaky skin and itching. Our vet recommended this. It took awhile of using it weekly, but it really works. Her skin stopped flaking, she stopped itching and her hair looks so shiny. We haven’t been as diligent with giving it recently and I noticed she was starting to have dry flaky and itchy skin again - so yeah, it’s annoying to buy and keep using, but it works!

    Did not work

By Blondiegirl on Nov 20, 2020

I used it just as instructions stated, and I seen no different in my pup. I was hopeful after the first week, but after a month, she was just as itchy and scratchy as day 1. Back to monthly injections at vet :(

    You Need to Know . . .

By Rascal on Aug 8, 2020

Applied 3rd weekly treatment yesterday. Seeing some improvement in dog's skin condition. You need to know that manufacturer suggests EIGHT (8) weekly treatments and follow-ups every 2 weeks. One package will not be enough. I believe the product is working, but it's a little too early to give it 5 stars. I also believe this info should be disclosed in product listing.

    Wish it worked

By Wefoundtheone on Sep 7, 2020

My girl Koda has had itchiness since I adopted her. I have tried everything I can think of to help with this. Unfortunately, this approach didn’t either. It smells amazing though!!!

Smell is a huge improvement/need time for product to provide results

By RazAMaTaz on Mar 28, 2020

This product was recommended by my vet as an alternative to cedarcide or frontline. The smell is a huge improvement and it is not toxic. It will take going through tick season to prove that it works. I've rated it 4 stars for smell improvement and optimism that it will work. Be sure to read the package instructions as this is not a one time application and requires consistent application for several weeks in the beginning.

    Not working for my dog

    By CA62 on Mar 22, 2020

I received my order promptly. Have given the pup 2 treatments and not helping her. Unfortunately I bought 4 boxes so I received the free shipping. Will continue to use it since I cannot return it. May work for your pup just not working for mine.

Wish it had been prescribed earlier

By Mayasmom on Feb 14, 2020

Vet prescribed this to be used after her weekly medical shampoo that treated yeast infection. Together they are conquering the yeast smell and the flaking skin. I'm grateful and the dog is getting great relief. The smell is fresh and clean. I highly recommend.

    Dermoscent vs oily seborrhea

By Hooversmom on Aug 15, 2019

My beautiful Cairn terrier has been suffering from seborrhea for almost a year. I have tried a multitude of treatments both prescribed by the vet (cortisone shots), Apoquel, bathing every week, etc. The cortisone worked for a month and then had to be repeated, which I did not like. The Apoquel alone didn't do much. But now combining Apoquel and Dermoscent seems to be helping. I will keep watching and keep my fingers crossed.

    Really helps

By Cindy on Jul 29, 2019

Our boy has diabetes and Cushing's disease. This treatment really helps keep his skin healthy. Even the vet mentioned it on our last visit. Thanks.
