Dog loves it
I am change my 8 month old puppy over to this beef flavor from the Diamond Naturals and she loves it. With so much protein and not full of grains and additives my 80+ pound dog has regular stools and they are not large piles. She is health and active on the Diamond Naturals and does not require as much food as the grain filled types.
Too many crumbs!
Totally disappointed with this bag. Bag was about a third crumbs and broken pieces. These crumbs didn’t even settle to the bottom. They were mixed in with the kibble. It was like as if someone was playing bean bag toss with the bag before delivering. Too much of a mess trying to transfer this product into a dog food container. Ugh!
Be aware!!
As soon as I opened the bag, the whole house smelled like rotten meat. My dogs refuse to even look at it. I thought about ordering another flavor but they had bad reviews too so I completely switched the brand. This stuff is nasty and will probably make dogs sick!
Diamond? Not!
I've been buying Diamond Naturals Beef.....for almost 3 years and have loved it~ up to this bag. This bag had a good 6 cups of crumbs in the bottom. Not sure what but something is off about it. My husky will only eat it with me sitting next to and encouraging her. The doodle has noticeable gas. He also is not excited with his kibble. We've gone through about 10#. If things continue pon this course I'll be looking for a different food.
Not for my dogs
The only reason I purchased this flavor is because lamb was out of stock at the time. My dogs don't like this at all and they're not picky in the least. I usually get a 40lb bag of the lamb every three weeks. It's been 3 weeks since I opened the bag of beef flavor and there is still half a bag.
Quality and tasty.
Discovered Diamond natural when it became hard to get the other food we used. Our bulldogs loved it right away, and the kibble size is perfect! So happy we tried this food and so are the bulldogs!
Dogs love it
I used to feed Diamond Naturals chicken and rice but a couple of my dogs started itching a lot. Slow transition to Beef meal and rice and they love it. No more itching!

I recently switched my dogs to Diamond Naturals over a period of a week, transitioning from their other brand. They love this and I even give some of the pieces as treats during the day.
Projectile diarrhea
Purchased Diamond Naturals Beef By the morning of my K9 partner was very ill. severe diarrhea with some blood developed. reading the other reviews we observed a change in breath odor but did not connect it to the dog food. Based on the other reports, I feel this is very closely linked to the new bags of dog food. I've contacted Diamond to no avail. I've seen recent complaints with similar symptoms. I'm bringing this to your attention this can potentially kill someone's pet. I've been feeding my dog rice and pumpkin with chicken to bind his gut. This is how bad it is.
Yummy puppy
My dog absolutely loves this food! He's excited every day when I give it to him! The vet also loves that I am feeding him this food. They love the vitality that it gives him.
