Feed according to the age, size and activity level of your cat. Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Keep fresh water available at all times.
Some pets may have sensitive stomachs and could potentially experience digestive upset from a sudden diet change. Because of this, we recommend making a gradual transition between foods. Begin with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the new food mixed with 75% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet. Feed this blend for 2-3 days and then change the mix to 50% of each for 2-3 days. Then feed 75% of the recommended daily portion of the new food with 25% of the recommended daily portion of the previous diet for a final 2-3 days before fully switching.
Cats can be funny about diet changes. Watch closely to be sure that your cat is eating during the transition. We recommend that you put two bowls of food out - one for the new food and one for the old - so that you can closely monitor how much of each is being consumed.
I could not get my cats to eat this but once. All three of them threw it up the first time and would never go near it again! I left it out for the wild animals.
Amazing for my cats. No more hair balls! They love the food, there have been other dented cans but so far no surprises.
I bought this since Royal Canin hairball control was not available. Unfortunately, they hate this food. Even putting a little dry food topping on it doesn't trick them into eating it. The ingredients look good so I gave it three stars.
I purchased this for a senior rescue cat whom I believe has some GI issues similar to diverticulitis or Crohn's. She needed a softer food as well as extra Omegas and this seems to be helping her and reducing symptoms. We will purchase again.
Seems like a good product, but my cats are picky and won't eat this. :(
There are very few meal products that help with hair balls. I thought this would be as enjoyable as science diet but alas, the cats don't like it.
Although it isn't his favorite, my cat will eat this. It is a little sticky/gummy but if I mix a little regular food with it my cat will eat it. So hard to find a hairball food my cat will eat.
While both my cats ate it, it gave atleast one of them some pretty awful diarrhea. Not sure of the quality of this food.
Combination of flavor and healthy hairball health.
Only got this until you could re-stock what I usually get. Cats ate it at first but, lost interest with 7 cans left. Had to get their usual at a local store to hold us over.
