Royal Canin Feline Care Nutrition Hairball Care Thin Slices in Gravy Canned Cat Food

Product worked with elimation of hairballs

I bought the dry and canned Royal Canin Canned cat food. Works great and problem solved. I also continue to brush my cat morning and night which helps too, but just brushing my cat and continuing to feed her regular cat food to her was not fixing the problem. Pleasantly surprised and happy I was referred to Royal Canin by my vet's office.

Too much liquid

We have 4 cats and all typically love Royal Canin wet food. I tried this Hairball formula for the first time and it was a unanimous NO from all the cats. First off my issue is the consistency of liquid that is not like sauce liquid but more like brown water. The size chunks were ok for the kitties and consistent with the other R.C. Variety we buy. The kitties just didn’t like the Hairball flavor and I dislike spending money on what appears to be 25% liquid. Don’t get me wrong, our kitties like wet, but sauce wet. Will not buy again.

Effective!

According to Sammy, this food is apparently delicious. His brother, Leo, refuses to partake. I notice a reduction in hairballs which is great. They still require regular brushing especially during “molting” seasons.

Excellent

Really works! My cat has a lot of fur and cleans herself meticulously. Hairball helps her get rid of every furball quickly, plus she loves the taste of the food.

Hairball Meal

It took a few a days, but this food seem to have tamed my kitty’s hairball problem. My kitty appear to like the food as well.

Supplemental to their dry food

I offer this to my cats along with the Royal Canin dry food Hairball formula. They love both, but they prefer the dry food.

Great option

I switched both of my short hair cats to this food after dealing with weekly hair balls when they ate another brand. This stuff has drastically decreased the number of hairballs and has made their coats very shiny. I am in a pickle now bc they have done well with this food for some time and now Chewy (and other retailers) are out of stock. I hope that can be remedied soon. Chewy has been my go to pet food retailer for years!

Temporary switch in food

When it was time for our autoship Chewy let us know that our normal Science Diet Hairball Control canned food was out of stock. They offered us two choices as a replacement and we went with this Royal Canin, having used Royal Canin for another cat in the past. Unfortunately, every day since we have started the food we've encountered a furball or two. We will definitely be switching back to our Science Diet ASAP.

Hair ball problem has improved

Tried this to supplement the special digestive dry food and it seems to be helping. If only you could keep it in stock!
