When my female barn cat turned about 1yo, she started getting frequent UTI’s. She’s semi-feral but I was able to trap her and get her to the vet one time. After that she wouldn’t come near me, so zero chance of any future exams. My vet suggested feeding urinary care food, so I tried this. Since feral cats get fed together they both eat this now. They’ve been eating this for about a year, and they both still like it. More importantly, it works. Jenny hasn’t had a uti since she started eating this. It’s not cheap, but what I spend on food I save in vet bills and antibiotics. Besides, the peace of mind is worth it.

After a scary vet urgent-care ER visit, our sweet tuxedo cat Sherlock was diagnosed with some kidney issues, including crystals in his urine. Since then, we have had to make changes to the food and treats we get for our little fur babies. Although both of our cats are 5 year old neutered males, only Sherlock has had any urinary/renal issues. But, since it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to keep Noodles, our ginger tabby, out of Sherlock's food, and after consulting with our vet, we decided to just have both of them eat the new specialized foods. Then came the tricky part- Sherlock is not a very picky eater; as long as it is not a pate, he will eat just about anything. Noodles, on the other hand, is super picky. He won't eat pate either, but is also quite finicky about his wet food. So, imagine my genuine surprise (and also immense relief!) when Sherlock and Noodles both gobbled up the Royal Canin urinary care slices in gravy. I was so happy to find something that they both will eat. They both love the new urinary care dry food they get for breakfast, and now, along with the Purina ProPlan urinary health wet food, they have 2 different wet foods they like for their dinner. So I am happy that they can have a little variety. Thank you Royal Canin! And more importantly, Sherlock and Noodles thank you too. :)

My 17 1/2 year old female cat was having issues with doing her business I had recently changed her over to Royal Canin 12+ Aging with success since the diet she like before was affecting her digestion, mood and bowels. When I changed over she was getting much better but there seemed to be a minor issue which would still bug her. I added the urinaryto her diet and now she’s eating drinking and doing her business like the early days! Plus her mood is much better. She’s not hesitant about asking for more and the vet says she’s the best he’s seen here! Thanks Royal Canin!

She ate every bite of both wet and dry. Royal Canin has definitely proven itself to be a quality cat food.

Story really like it!

I've tried other brands of urinary tract foods before and Story wouldn't eat them. I was very happy that he likes it. I try to do whatever is necessary for my pets

Good for urinary issues

This is a good food to have your cat on if they have urinary problems. My cat is on the prescription diet by Royal Canin. It’s the Urinary SO dry food but my boyfriend

This is a good food to have your cat on if they have urinary problems. My cat is on the prescription diet by Royal Canin. It’s the Urinary SO dry food but my boyfriend and I feed her this wet food. She has done well on both without having any urinary problems. It’s always good to check with your vet if your cat does have recurring urinary issues though. The SO diet is prescription so it is more effective for recurring issues. This food is a part of her regular meals; we give it to her for dinner every night and she has done well on it.

Palatable

Very good brand and that’s eat to the last morsel. Initially I thought a pate would be better but actually this texture is much better. A keeper
