Description

Duralactin Canine Chewable Supplement has been formulated for the long term management of chronic inflammation. The active ingredient in these tasty chewable tablets, MicroLactin, contains factors that modify the neutrophil/endothelial cell interaction to reduce the emigration of neutrophils and thereby aid in the inflammatory response.

Key Benefits

  • Duralactin contains MicroLactin, a patented dried milk protein from the milk of hyperimmunized cows. MicroLactin contains factors that appear to block and inhibit body chemicals from participating in the inflammatory response
  • Helps support wellness and possibly diminish the need for steroids or NSAID without suppressing the immune system
  • Results seen in 4-7 days with peak effects in 10-14 days
  • Intended to be used as a nutritional aid for the long term management of inflammatory conditions
  • Chewable vanilla flavored tablets dogs love can be given as a treat or mixed with food

Our dog Latte, a Lab mix, has nearly finished her first 180 count bottle of Duralcatin. We found it hard to see any improvement at first, but our vet didn't warn us about the "loading" phase, so she only ever got the regular daily dose of two tabs. Her improvement was so gradual that we did not associate her improving "spunkiness" with the Duralactin. Two weeks ago - a bit over two months into her use - she had an unrelated stomach issue and wouldn't take anything for three days. In that short time we saw a marked relapse of her restricted joint range and ease of motion which immediately improved and then returned to her old-age normal after a week back on Duralactin. In that short time we saw a marked relapse of her restricted joint range and ease of motion which immediately improved and then returned to her old-age normal after a week back on Duralactin. Latte is one of those dogs who does not like the vanilla flavoring, so we use peanut butter to mask the smell. When time allows, I break up the tab - they are very easily divided in half along the central groove and then crumbled into small pieces, cup them in my palm, and smear the PB over that, which she then gobbles. Latte has developed age-related laryngeal paralysis, and the large tabs may be just too large as well as unpalatable. She has never had a digestive issue with Duralactin. I have ordered a second bottle of Duralactin. Latte has done so very well and is now capable of regular short bursts of energy and play; I've ordered the human version for myself! … more

  • Old Dog...new tricks!

    By on

This product was recommended by a friend. It made my old dog of 14 pick up his feet and run around the yard. He's not a pup, but he's still got life in those arthritic bones. He's also on 1/2 a Duramaxx each day, but that wasn't doing it all. This was a great addition.

  • This might be the one

Stopped giving my dog pain meds that upset her stomach and tried the Duralactin. She seems to be doing better and a little more active. The only problem was that when I opened the bottle, quite a few of the pills were broken up. Don't know how it could have happened since there was a cotton insert that held them down.

  • Tasty and effective

The bottle smells delicious and my dog loves to eat them. They don't have a miracle effect, but I did notice an increase in her comfort level.

  • Great product, especially for older dogs

Been using this product for two years on an mature mastiff/pit of undetermined age. Our vet suggested a similar product that was very pricey. That product worked well, but we couldn't afford it. After researching other similar products, we discovered Duralactin which was more affordable. Works great. Our large dog enjoys a more active life now.

  • It's good for them.

My dogs have taken Duralactin for a long time. It's good for them. Ruby gulps hers down; JoJo has to have his in a blob of soft food. He is wary of anything that looks like a pill. Too smart for his own good!

  • Helps my senior dog

My 12 year old Lab seems to feel much better since she started taking this. I believe it is helping her joints and other pain she was having. She's bouncing around like a much younger dog now.

  • Duralactin for large dogs

I just started using this product for my German Shepherd Dog. I would prefer not to use non-steroidal medication on her as she is very arthritic. I have only been using this product on her for a little over 2 weeks. There are no side effects associated with this product.

Iv noticed a big difference with my lab/German shepherd hips dysplasia and arthritis. A lot less limping and she is able to get up easier. :)

My dog refuses to eat these. She normally eats anything I give her. She spits them out
