This bag is a great fit for my petit pug (15lbs). She can sit comfortably in it but not stand (but for short trips this is fine). It has many options for loading

This bag is a great fit for my petit pug (15lbs). She can sit comfortably in it but not stand (but for short trips this is fine). It has many options for loading the pet inside; front, side and top zipper flaps. The slight downside is that when the pet is in the bag it is quite heavy (however this is unsurprising, the listing accurately disclosed the weight and dimensions). Overall very satisfied with this bag, it will be great for short trips/errands.

Ease of use.

My dogs loved this rolling backpack! We travel a lot so they found this "house" a safe space to rest in when in unfamiliar environments like hotels. We left it open

My dogs loved this rolling backpack! We travel a lot so they found this "house" a safe space to rest in when in unfamiliar environments like hotels. We left it open for a few weeks in the house so they can explore it and get comfortable before w left. It was also super easy to get them quickly from the car to the plane and onto a ferry. GREAT purchase!

Although she will outgrow it quickly, it has been good so far to start her socialization while she completes all her vaccinations. The first step is to introduce it to her slowly. We just set it on the floor and let her explore it. Then we used treats to have her go inside and fed her inside with free access. Be careful to correct if you puppy starts to bite on it. Then we encouraged her inside after a couple of days, zipped up all but one side, and rolled the carrier around in the house. Next step: We secured it in the car for her to ride along. The bottom was a little slippery in this configuration so we placed a towel inside. We always keep a leash on her and run it through the two metal loops to safeguard her in case she decides to hop out during transport. We haven't tried it in the backpack position yet because we are still working on making sure she will stay inside with the top open. Pretty happy with it.
