Cleaning is as easy as pushing the button. Button pressure sensitive and if uneven push with finger the bristles don't fully contract in one area where there is less pressure- I have learned to self correct the pressure to get bristles retracted in whatever area. I like the size- is larger than regular slicker brush and handle comfortable

I love how there is a button in the back to easily remove the hair.

The brush is really good especially to “fluff” out a dogs hair, however you will need another one for true detangling as well. This one won’t get out all the knots,

Minor issues

Seems like an ok slicker brush but I ordered the X-Small and it's gigantic for my Pomsky. A couple of the pin-bristles were bent, but just a couple so overall,

Seems like an ok slicker brush but I ordered the X-Small and it's gigantic for my Pomsky. A couple of the pin-bristles were bent, but just a couple so overall, not bad. Also, the pin-bristles don't completely disappear when the button to hide them for hair removal is pressed. So not quite as effective as it could be. Overall, if I had a larger dog (or smaller brush) I'd still keep it.

Just got this brush and our poor dog had a few tough mats near her collar and ear. Tried a different comb thing that didn’t work. This brush was fantastic and it easily got them all out. Our dog has medium light soft almost golden retriever hair. She is a rescue. She enjoyed being brushed but now doesn’t have painful mats.

fantastic!

having show and field dogs and living on acreage it's difficult to keep their coats nice. but this brush works better than a mat breaker without having to tear

And being able to clean the brush with a push of a button is so quick. It saves time as well as coat. . . and so far seems very durable.
