I have 3 african side neck turtles housed in 2 separate tanks. In December of 2022 I bought these (along with uvb bulbs) and have been using them exclusively ever since. Though its nothing major I've noticed a small increase in appetite and how excited they are to see me when I get home from work.

I've never had a problem with this product. I also feel better buying it because it's water resistant. My girl splashes alot, especially at feeding time and I've always worried about droplets hitting the heat lamp. The lasting power is generally ok I find it last about 6 months. Care must be taken when manipulating the bulb or its holding apparatus. A good bump can break the delicate threads inside the bulb. Overall, a well designed and very useful product.
