Compounding pharmacists mix or change one or more FDA-approved medications to prepare a special medication for your pet. For example, if a medication is only available in pill form, the pharmacist might create it in liquid, gel, or capsule form.

Our kitten switched to this after rejecting pills. Unfortunately, I wish we tried the pills more because he hated this so much he cried and then ran around foaming at the mouth afterwards. He has tolerated all other liquid medicines. We tried the chicken and the beef flavors - disliked both.
My cat is on famciclovir long term. The pills have been great in keeping her herpesvirus symptoms under control. Thought the liquid might be easier for her, but it makes her drool and it's not controlling her symptoms. Going back to the pills again.
Thank you for selling this in liquid form, making easier for my cat to take him meds for a few weeks.
My cat took a different med fairly easily, in liquid form with chicken flavor made at a compounding pharmacy, so I ordered this in liquid format with chicken flavor through Chewy. She HATES it. We tried multiple ways to get it into her, through bribery, trickery, or by force.
Cat hated the taste. She'd ignore a treat (for not fighting me) and just sit there making faces for 2 minutes. Greasy feeling left on hand if you touch any. And it didn't help poor kitty at all. Also, I think I got less than 30ml in the formula. As it didn't help, it doesn't much matter I guess.
When I mixed it with wet food and sprinkled dry food on it my cat ate the wet food with it in it. I highly recommend doing this.
Easy to administer to my 3 cats who were sick. Able to get it in 2 days.
I ordered this hoping it will help with not having to deal with the pill fight. This was a huge fight. Right off the bat my cat didn't want it. The chicken flavor is very strong smelling. And it is very greasy. I have never had to fight a cat so much to give them liquid meds. And the chicken smell lingered on everything!
I ordered this (tuna flavor) for my daughter's kitty who was recently diagnosed with feline herpes. I thought it would be easier for her than the pills so it was worth the huge price tag. Welp $100 down the drain because he absolutely hates this medicine. It is a chore for her to give it to him and unfortunately he gets it twice a day.
This medicine came highly recommended from a feline support group. I believe this works; but the taste is terrible and was causing my cat more stress than it was worth.
