The sheen of gravy is tasty to my senior cat. She may also nibble the pate afterwards. Then she snubs the rest, but a stray cat devours the remainder. I like the lack of a mess. To serve, I just open and rap the can on a paper plate that sits on a hard surface. Plop! The entire contents fall out! No messy spatula swiping is needed.

Not for cats with sensitive stomach issues

I was previously giving this to my cats as a daily meal, and I thought it was good because they seemed to really like it. However, one of my cats started to have

I was previously giving this to my cats as a daily meal, and I thought it was good because they seemed to really like it. However, one of my cats started to have frequent diarrhea and gastrointestinal upset. I didn’t realize that the quality of this food was the problem until I switched him onto a prescription diet for digestive upset. Almost immediately after switching, his condition improved and he’s been doing much better. This Fancy Feast Senior pate was probably not off or anything (since my other cat also ate/eats it and is completely fine), but it’s definitely not good for cats with sensitive stomach or digestive upset.

I like the Senior 7+ Fancy Feast because it's very soft, moist, and easy for my cat to eat even though he has no teeth. He loves the flavor. My other cats like it

I like the Senior 7+ Fancy Feast because it's very soft, moist, and easy for my cat to eat even though he has no teeth. He loves the flavor. My other cats like it too. It gets cleaned up right away. Some of the pate cat foods, even Fancy Feast, have some hard pieces in them like chips of bone. The senior 7+ doesn't usually have that problem.
