Questions & Answers

6 Customer Questions

What does the "Neutered" in the title refer to?

Answer by ChewyOct 02, 2024
This recipe is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages. However, Farmina's Neutered formula differs from their Adult formulas in that they contain less fat and more fiber to help a less active, neutered (spayed or neutered), pet keep a healthy weight. If your neutered pet is active and has no weight issues, the adult formulas are best!

Answer by ChewyApr 05, 2024

I normally buy the blueberry and lamb, but bought this to see if my sweet girl would like it, and I think she likes this even better than the blueberry she was already obsessed with lol. She eats wet food for breakfast and dinner but I like her to have kibble to free feed on at other times. I love the quality of the ingredients, and it cracks me up how she buries her face in it as she gobbles it up lol

I have such picky cats and this is one of their favorites. It’s the only high end brand they will actually eat

like that this is high in fiber but my kitty likes the tropical chicken with ancient grains adult noticeably better than this lower grain lamb neutered so I put a little of the tropical chicken with ancient grains on top to get him to eat it. I will have to go back to the chicken flavor only when this is gone.

I bought this Farmina N&D Tropical Lamb dry food for my cat who seemed to have lost interest in dry food, altogether. He really likes this Tropical Lamb formula, I mix it with his oral care dry cat food, and so far, so good. He enjoys his meals, and he is healthy, energetic, and happy.

Small kibble

I wanted to love this because of the ingredients. My cat loves a larger kibble size. I've been wanting to get him off Royal Canin as their carb content is too much

I wanted to love this because of the ingredients. My cat loves a larger kibble size. I've been wanting to get him off Royal Canin as their carb content is too much. However, he loves their large kibble! This is described as being a quarter size??? It is not. My cat ran down the hall from it. I'll keep slowing adding it in as now I have a 11 lb bag of small kibble! Still I love the ingredients and I'm hopeful he'll adjust. I only wish the size had been advertised accurately.

Lamb

I gave it a 4 for other customers. I thought my cat was allergic to chicken. I guess not because he could not eat this either. He itches
