Farnam Hindgut Stabilizer Pellets Horse Supplement, 3.75-l... is a new product that I tried on my 3 horses. This horse supplement lasted a month and you don't need to use a lot. I was able to put the scoop on the feed and they ate it all. They had no issues with the taste or smell. I was also able to grab a scoop and give it to them by mouth. My 3 horses use to be on pasture and never ate feed/grains so I was concerned about them having gut issues. I will continue to use this product and recommend it to all.

We began using these pellets shortly after our veterinarian recommended them for my senior horse, Cisco. She had just spent 2 hours at our farm treating him for impacted colic. This was not her first visit to our farm for Cisco. He is 26 and has dental issues that make him vulnerable to digestive problems. When I first opened the container, I noticed a tempting apple scent, and knew Cisco would not have to be "tricked" into eating them. I was right. I like the handy measuring scoop that comes in the bucket with the pellets, so there is no guess work to the dose. He readily eats them on top of his morning grain. He has had no further problem with any digestive issues. I am now using these pellets for our other 3 seniors and they are all staying healthy. We will continue using these pellets.

I have a very picky mare. She snubs her nose at most things other horses would jump to gobble up. She has also had severe ulcers before so when I saw this product, I was apprehensive (because she's picky) but really wanted to try it for her. Happy to say she sucked it right up and wanted more. She found it very palatable and this is from a horse that could find ONE wrong pellet in an entire scoop and a half of grain and therefore refuse to eat any of it. Very happy.

I tried this product for my horse with fecal water syndrome. After one month of daily use it didn't result in noticeable improvement. In fairness I've tried a lot of products and nothing has helped and the product is not designed specifically for this issue. I plan to continue using it for a couple more months. My horse did like the flavor of the product.

I think it works great. My horse is on a high grain diet and he was having digestive issues. After a month of trying this he is doing better. He has no problem eating

I think it works great. My horse is on a high grain diet and he was having digestive issues. After a month of trying this he is doing better. He has no problem eating it as we mix it in his soup(soaked food) . Its easy to use and it comes with its own measureing cup. We have decided to keep him on it longer since it seems to be helping him have a better life.

I’m trying this on just one of my senior horses that has a history of going on and off feed. He is currently on another gut supplement, but I thought adding something to help specifically his hind gut might be beneficial. One scoop added to his feed and he ate it with no problem, and he can be quite picky, so that’s great! It’s going to be awhile before I know if it really works.

I tried putting a small amount in and building up and even with the small amount the horse would not clean their plate. It might be an amazing product but I cannot say since my horse is a stinker.
