My old appy mare struggles with Fecal Water Syndrome, I literally had her on this all summer last year and she did amazing with it. Spring my mare developed FWS again. A local feed store sells it for $65 for the 25LB one. I would get it through chewy if it was the same price! This cleared up her FWS in 4 days!!! She will be on it daily until 25LB pail is used- usually lasts 2.5/3 months for her

I have a very senior horse who has suffered from runny poop for several years. My vet and I have tried many different things to try to firm them up - floating teeth, changing his feed, changing his hay, adding probiotics - nothing helped. And then I read something about this stuff and figured I might as well try it. And lo and behold, within a few days, his poop firmed up and looks perfectly normal now. He gets 2 scoops once a day as a dressing on his senior feed. He eats it right up and we've had no issues. Amazing stuff!

Happy Chewy Carries Daily Gold!

I originally started purchasing daily gold after I had two studs gelded. The poor guys were new to the farm and their welcome committee included having the old snip

I originally started purchasing daily gold after I had two studs gelded. The poor guys were new to the farm and their welcome committee included having the old snip snip. The one ended up with a slight complication after surgery and required some extra care along with antibiotics. I think we all know how much antibiotics can mess up the balance of the stomach then add stress, surgery recovery, new barn etc. well he was definitely showing some signs of stress and acting a little extra jumpy. I didn’t want to risk it so I put him along with my other horses all on Daily Gold. HUGE difference within a couple of days and after two of the smaller bags he is calm. I was purchasing the smaller 4.5lb bags from a local feed store, but as soon as I saw that chewy carries the 25lb tub I ordered it from them immediately. I spend $350 a month on horse supplements for three horses so being able to buy Daily Gold in bulk is much more economical with pricing! I plan to keep every horse in the barn on Daily Gold year round because it works and I like the peace of mind that they have the extra support for their gut.

I had better success treating and keeping ulcers under control with Daily Gold than with omeprazole. It doesn't really have any flavor so I can mix it with mash

I do notice that if I soak it with the mash, it sinks to the bottom and he won't clean it up (again, no flavor) so it's best used dry.
