pricey but they love them . got them for a friend for her birthday, for her horse. he is spoiled
My horse loves Stud Muffins and I get a kick out that name!
The fresh smell of peppermint gets my Mare stopping her feet she dont like to wait.. But to watch her savor it and lick her mouth when done is a pleasure
I usually buy the German Cookies for the horses and decided to give this a try. All horses like peppermint don't they? NO they do not....one horse would only smell and not even try and the second horse tried and promptly spit it out. If your horses love peppermint they might like these but didn't go over well at my house.
My husband takes loving care every morning of a 28-year-old mare, and after giving her thinly sliced soft apples (carrots are too hard), and knowing that she loves peppermint candy but that it's not good for her, he wanted to look for peppermint treats she could handle. Stud Muffins are our third try; the first two kinds were too hard, even though the descriptions and reviews said older horses with teeth to match liked them. He cuts these in half, and she comes running! They are just right. We love that they are made on this continent with wholesome ingredients. Thank you, Stud Muffins and Chewy!
My horse goes crazy for these treats. The neighbors donkey brays when she smells them so I have to go give her a treat as well!
They smell so great and they are nice and soft for them to chew! I will be buying again!
