I bought this older loveseat and has warn areas, kind of cracking a bit. Will this help?

I want to condition my furniture. Will this product hurt my dogs? My one dog occasionally will lick the leather.

This product is non-irritating , non-toxic, and non-flammable and will not harm pets. However, we encourage that you allow the product to completely dry before allowing your pets near the furniture.

…what’s in it?

I used this product for a long time since it’s easy and I didn’t use oil on tack frequently. When I started restoring tack I took a look at the ingredients list and the only thing I’ve been able to find is “a blend of natural and synthetic oils.” So it’s an oil compound but I have yet to find the actual ingredients list. It’s ok for conditioning leather, but it leaves the tack sticky. The benefit is that it’s not quite as darkening as other oils. I use pure neatsfoot oil but it turns leather several shades darker. I don’t have an issue with that because I don’t like light tack, but if you have something like one of those beige western pleasure saddles, there are leather oils and conditioners designed for that.

saddle oil
