This definitely helped

My horse gives the farrier a bit of trouble while being shod. If I give it to him at least an hour before, it definitely helps relax him and he doesn't fidget as

My horse gives the farrier a bit of trouble while being shod. If I give it to him at least an hour before, it definitely helps relax him and he doesn't fidget as much. The only downfall is that the paste is pretty thick and not that easy to administer. I'm going to try the pellets now.

Great for mare with sep anxiety, not great if cold

It really helped my mare with separation anxiety. She is new to me and she took a strong liking to one of my geldings upon arrival and didn't want to be separated

It really helped my mare with separation anxiety. She is new to me and she took a strong liking to one of my geldings upon arrival and didn't want to be separated even just to go to the barn for a grooming. So, I gave the tube to her and waited. It was easy to administer and she wasn't horrified about the taste. She calmed down and didn't care about where he was and happily munched hay, which she wouldn't do if she was anxious. I will say that it definitely doesn't do well in the cold which is the only complaint I have. I tried to give it to her on a trail ride the first time but it was cold and wouldn't come out of the tube. So that was disappointing. Maybe to be expected but I don't have heat at my barn so I had to bring it home and let it get to room temperature again before I could try it on her again.

Show calming paste works to calm anxiety

Received this calming paste meant for horses that show. Since I didn’t have a show coming up, I used it on a horse on stall rest that could use a little calm energy

Received this calming paste meant for horses that show. Since I didn’t have a show coming up, I used it on a horse on stall rest that could use a little calm energy. The product is in a nice tube that’s easy to handle and easy to dose. It’s a bit messy but that also has to do with the recipient. Anyway, I dosed my horse in the stall. He made a mess but he’s like that, so he definitely got it all down. In about thirty minutes or so, I noticed a difference in my horse (OTTB). He was definitely calmer and it took the edge off his anxiety but he was not out of it, say like with Dorm. He was still his happy self and aware of everything going on, so I was happy with that!! He gets anxious whenever it’s going to snow. Go figure! Anyway, it worked well and the box is instantly recognizable as a Farnam product with its yellow and blue logo. Would definitely recommend it for use in a show environment. I’m sure it can help take the edge off and keep their head in the “game”.

This product is a total game-changer! So easy on the horses and doesn’t knock them out, just takes the edge off. I had the perfect opportunity to test it out today on 2 of my quarter horse mares that were being trailered to a new farm. They knew something was up in the morning when I pulled them out of the herd and took them to the barn…and they were hot mad! I gave them only 1/2 a tube each about 2 hours before loading…and while still fully alert, they loaded up without any trouble and were calm the entire ride. 👍

Easy to administer and definitely works like magic. He was so calm and happy to be that way. I’ll definitely be purchasing more of this product.

Decent product mildly calming for my horse

Horse accepted the pace readily. I guess the taste is OK and while I feel it is mildly effective I don’t think it is 100% the most calm my horse has ever been from
