Is the chicken in pate form?

This recipe comes in a pate form.

How much salt is in one 3 ounce can? What type of salt is used (sea salt, regular iodized salt, non-iodized salt)? And is the salt content the same in all of the Feline Natural canned cat foods?

Feline Natural add Sodium Chloride. This is what they use in other products as well, and is a human grade source of salt produced in New Zealand. As per AAFCO guidelines, their sodium content is approximately 0.08 grams per 3 ounce can.

Is this food AAFCO approved? I didn't see that on the label.

What is the flax seed for?

Flaxseed flakes are used in very small amounts, making up less than 0.3% of the recipe, and will aid with digestion and in the formulation of healthy stools.

Really hoped my cats would like this but no.

After researching quality brands of cat food I came upon this one and I really wanted my cats to like it but both of them did the sniff and back away slowly thing

After researching quality brands of cat food I came upon this one and I really wanted my cats to like it but both of them did the sniff and back away slowly thing when I gave it to them. Knowing how picky cats can be in general (“I normally eat chicken, but today I hate it!”) I tried another can the next day with the same result. I bought some Halo brand chicken in the same order and that one they ate right away, so at least one of the new foods worked out!

A couple of things are going on. Some cats will love it and some cats will not like it. My boy loves it and goes crazy for the chicken, the other varieties, not so much. My girl is not happy, but she’s chunky and cats do need water from their food. I compromised by mixing a little hard kibble in for her. She’s lost weight and her coat isn’t matted! Her fur is crazy smooth and I feel as though it’s the food. The other thing is this manufacturer went through a bad patch cuz they slacked off big time. I was about to call it quits for them. There was no water or natural juices in the can and I had to add water. The cats weren’t feeling it and I doctored their food a lot for that shipment. But it seems like Feline Natural is now hopefully back on track, fingers crossed. It’s really healthy food for cats and I hope they get it together.

This was the only food my cat would eat. She loved it until they started sending bad food. I’ve was buying this food at a local place for a year until I found it

This was the only food my cat would eat. She loved it until they started sending bad food. I’ve was buying this food at a local place for a year until I found it on Chewy, so I know what the food is supposed to be like. It was all fine until the last shipment and once I opened the food one day I noticed it was a different color. It was darker and there is a lot of fluid surrounding it normally but now it’s a hard jelly substance and the food is also really hard. I tried to add water to it and my cat rejects it every single time. Every once in awhile I’ll get a normal can and she eats it up but most of it is hard and nasty now. I’m so upset and have all of this food I don’t want to open bc then I can’t send it back. Not sure what to do.

I've been trying to find the right diet for my four legged friends were there are no preservatives, fillers or harmful ingredients, and this is when I came upon

I've been trying to find the right diet for my four legged friends were there are no preservatives, fillers or harmful ingredients, and this is when I came upon this expensive food, so thought I would give it a try. My oldest out of 5 cats is 21 and suffers from her kidneys, so I tried KD science hill authorized by the vet and it was a no go, as I barely saw any improvement. I was soon introduced to this food and so far I've had prominent results, as all my cats chow down with satisfaction. I'm so far happy to see their energy levels emerging throughout the start of this particular food, and recommend this product if you are looking for limited, but healthy ingredients as a complete diet.
