See Details for instructions to redeem. If your kitty is finicky with litter, look no further! This Litter has no added perfumes or fragrances that could be offensive to cats. It clumps on contact by immediately absorbing urine. This quick clumping action traps the odor-causing bacteria, and odors disappear. Clumps will continue to harden and dry until all liquid is absorbed. SmartCat All Natural Litter works great on fecal odors as well. Your litter box will stay clean and odor free.

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

I started out using this litter a few years ago when I switched from corn litter. Corn and wheat can grow a harmful to pets fungus so I found an alternative in grass. I love it and so do the cats. I then switched to the similar Chewy brand called Frisco which is a few bucks cheaper. Lately my cats have been tracking the Frisco so much, so I inquired at Chewy to see if the Pioneer Smart variety tracked less. They didn’t really know for sure so I bought a bag of this (Pioneer Smart) to compare. I have two big litter boxes side by side. I have been watching my two cats going in and out and I can honestly say there is no difference between the two. Maybe the Smart Kitty little pieces are more whole and less broken down compared to the Frisco that has been in the boxes for several weeks already getting stepped on and slightly pulverized. Save a few bucks and order the Chewy brand. I see no tracking or esthetic difference between the two brands. The tracking issue can be dealt with by using a mat next to the box to catch the litter. The nice thing about grass is it’s natural, clumps great, doesn’t stick to the litter box and creates no dust.
Great product. My cat Leo and I love it. I can say 100% dust free product. Clump well. It is bit difficult to use in Litter Robot as the clump stick onto the rubber cover (underneath the litter). But it is to remove without any residues on the rubber. They may need to improve that. If they can improve the litter as flushable form that would be thhe game canher. I highly recomend this cat litter.
I had to finally commit to a switch from clay litter to a healthier alternative due to the fact that my litter was back ordered due to company issues (look up FreshStep security) but in doing so I landed on this choice which has proven immediately to be the best litter I’ve ever used in my entire cat life!! No smell, no dust, little traction but so what because if you happen to step on these it doesn’t stain your floors or even scratch them due to the hard clay. There’s not much more to say, buy it, it’ll change your life and your cats will thank you.
Had cats for over 50 years. 17 indoor cats at one time. tried so many different litters and thought I found my favorites until last month when I found grass litter absolutely love it and so do my cats. Trying different brands but smart cat was the first one, and I absolutely recommend it, a little pricey but clumps great has absolutely no odor and last long. Excellent for multi cat household and senior cats and they’re delicate feet.
This litter completely solved the problem of a new little rescue who wanted to use my large potted plants as litter boxes. Plus, there is absolutely no smell. It clumps better than any other litter I've ever seen. The only downside is that it tracks. But given what I was dealing with previously, it's well worth it to me.
My cats reaction to this litter was not good. He appears to be allergic or at least sensitive to it. He kept grooming his butt and seemed uncomfortable. He is elderly so his immune system is probably not that great. I thought it was very good at odor control
I currently use a Non-GMO grass seed litter from a different manufacturer. I ONLY buy the non-GMO type grass seed litters since cats do lick it off their fur. Grass seed litter is THE BEST of all the natural litters. It forms hard-as-rock balls that don't break apart, as long as you wait 15 minutes before scooping. The litter stays so clean and with zero smell, that I have been known to pour 40 lbs into my giant litterbox and had it last 9 months before I started to smell a slight hint of mustiness. However, I noticed that the cut of this grass seed is very fine. Its very "feathery". Not like sand, but like feathery bits. Usually, I have to sweep my downstairs hard-wood floor once in the AM after everyone has had their breakfast and thats it for the next 24 hours. But with this very "feathery" cut of grass seed litter, I am sweeping my floor 5 times a day because of the spread. So, going back to my other brand that only cuts the seed about 3 times into 3 round pieces. Those pieces do roll but I'd rather have a FEW round pieces on my hard floor than 1000s of feathery flyaways.
I did research for SO LONG trying to find an all natural cat litter and this is the best one! It’s lightweight, low dust (all litters I’ve tried are dusty even though they claim not to be), covers smell well and is well priced! Even wood litters like pellets can be cancerous because of the saw dust. I think this is the most natural it gets because it’s grass! I was worried at first when I switched my cats litter because one started eating it. Luckily I called the company, twice to make sure, and both of the reps I spoke to assured me that because it’s natural, it will be digested and will not cause a blockage like clay litters which is an emergency situation. Of course, if a cat eats a LOT maybe that would change, but my cat was fine! I’ve been using this litter for over a year now. It tracks a lot which is probably the only downside, but again, nearly all litters do. I rather vacuum more and know my cats are safe and healthy!
This litter is amazing and well worth the cost. No odor, no mess and the box is always clean looking. It clumps quickly and does not stick to, and mess up the box like clay. I simply put the pee lumps in a pail and due to minimal adhesion, I can toss the poo into the toilet and flush.
I used to use another cat litter (corn), and it had bugs plus corn is filled with pesticides, so not good for cats. I switched to this litter which is more expensive but so much better for your cat.
