How long does it last?

I have been using this litter for 5 plus years and it is the best cat litter I have ever used hands down. The key is scoping it frequently at least every other day If you have 1 cat. There is no perfume smell no dust at all.I scoop in a gallon size non zip locked bag and throw in my kitchen garbage and you never smell anything. Love this litter!!!

Clay litter was causing me respiratory problems with all the dust. This grass litter is literally dust free! It is very lightweight and therefore tracks - I can handle that. I added some activated charcoal with handles the smell perfectly. Clay litters Chang their formulas so often, clumping capabilities are hit or miss. This litter has tight clumps. I have 3 indoor cats- one is a big 20 pound boy! I do scoop everyday and sweep up the tracking. Small price to pay for the health benefits!

My cat has asthma and I have to be really picky about her litter. I bought this to try a few years agoa nd have never looked back! This litter is dust free and clumps very well. It's also very affordable - I used to buy 40lbs of clay litter every 2 weeks for my 2 cats, and now I buy a 20lb bag of this every 4-6 weeks. Not sure why it tracks so badly for everyone else, but I don't have that problem. Of course it tracks a little but nothing noticeable unless I don't vaccuum for a week. And one of my cats jumps out of the litterbox like she's possessed every time and even she doesn't track or spray litter.

Excellent for cats, but NOT FOR RABBITS

We absolutely LOVED the grass seed litter. It was clean, no mess, and you could not smell the very strong rabbit urine, it clumped it all up. My rabbits were eating

We absolutely LOVED the grass seed litter. It was clean, no mess, and you could not smell the very strong rabbit urine, it clumped it all up. My rabbits were eating it as well as my chickens. One day a few weeks ago, one of my otherwise healthy bunnies went into a corner and died. Unfortunately, I saw it on the camera. I thought maybe a snake got in the coop and bit her, but there were no signs. Then I just so happened to come across an article how bad clumping cat litter is for rabbits, how it expands inside their stomach and causes GI issues which could be deadly. Unfortunately, I learned too late. As soon as I figured this out, I threw out whatever litter was in the box and replaced it with hemp, the stuff I use for the chickens. Holy cow, does the rabbit urine smell lol I Wish I could continue to use it

The litter we used to use was Bamboo. tI has been out of stock for a long time. I decided to try smartcat as it was pellets also. I figured even though it was not clumping i could mix with the clumping litters. I am not a fan. I cant scoop the clumping litter because these pellets are so large they wont sift and they won't clump to the clumping litter. I have a large scooper that has larger holes. I am a fan of scoopable litter. I think it is healthier for the inhabitants of the entire home. I will be donating this litter. I am sure it is great for those who like to "let it ride" and dump at once. On a positive note, The smell is nice and it doesn't track.

Tracking is Unbearable.

This litter is the best I have used for odor control. I love that it is natural, not dusty, not scented, and does an amazing job at odor control. But it tracks everywhere

This litter is the best I have used for odor control. I love that it is natural, not dusty, not scented, and does an amazing job at odor control. But it tracks everywhere. It is all over my house. In my bed, on my couch, in my shoes, everywhere. My house never looks or feels clean anymore because of this stuff getting freaking everywhere. Truly the worst I have ever used in this regard. I have 4 cats and 4 litter boxes but there are mats and rugs and it makes no difference. We are probably going to have to switch to something else despite how well this performs because if I crawl in my bed one more time to find the scratchy pieces of doom have been tracked into my sheets again I am going to scream. If you have a litter box in a satellite location like a sun room or maybe use a litter robot this might be great for you. But it’s been 2 years and I am over it being everywhere.

The cats were fine with this and it did control the odor well, but it tracks like your kids just came home from the beach! This is a real fine sand that sticks to the paws like its hanging on for dear life. As soon as I swept and the box was used I tracked the culprit from the box to the water dish, to my bedroom, to my pillow , to the bathroom and into the tub before it all fell of his feet. ( They all have very hairy paws) We also have a "black hole" mat right outside the box that did not catch much of it. It was easy to scoop but it did stick hard to the bottom of my stainless steel pans. If smell is your only concern this is great! If tracking is a concern I would not recommend this one.

Covered the smell pretty good for a while. Did not have an offensive odor of its own. Got super dusty after a while. Left a huge mess in the bottom of the litter

Covered the smell pretty good for a while. Did not have an offensive odor of its own. Got super dusty after a while. Left a huge mess in the bottom of the litter box when I went to replace. Had to wash the whole thing out. Tracking of the litter itself was moderate, but they definitely got dusty paw prints on my black leather couch/other dark surfaces. Worst of all, my cat wanted to eat it and chewed through the bag to get to it.

This cat litter is one of many I have purchased in my search for the best cat litter. When I noticed how well it clumps I really thought I had found it! Its the first I have found so far that really holds together. All the others I have tried broke apart upon scooping. This stuff doesn't. Its excellent in that regard. And because of that, the ammonia smell is WAY less apparent. It seems to minimize most odors pretty well. BUT! This is the problem. It tracks worse than any litter I've used . It is all through the house, and on the furniture. I have the litter box on a rug with a deep, textured pile in hopes of catching it, but it doesn't seem to help much. My cat Joe has long hair between his toes, and it sticks to his feet. I shudder at the thought of how much my fastidious little cat has had to eat while cleaning himself. Sadly, I can't keep using this litter, despite its clumping prowess. I hope I can find another natural, unscented litter that will clump as well, and not track all through my house.

We were willing to give this a try after reading about this cat litter. Would it really clump or would it fall apart? We have 4 cats and 2 of them are CKD cats so

We were willing to give this a try after reading about this cat litter. Would it really clump or would it fall apart? We have 4 cats and 2 of them are CKD cats so we have a lot of urine. We also have one of them with a constant nasal issue so making sure there is no dust is a big consideration. With 4 cats--controlling the smell is a huge thing also...well this litter really knocked it out of the park AND all of our cats LOVED it too. It has a very pleasant freshly mowed grass smell. The cats find it very acceptable. Even with the high volume of urine produced by our CKD cats it clumps! It clumps really well too! Even better--it does NOT turn to mush either. No tracking out of the boxes on paws. We are very happy with it and it filled our boxes up really nicely too. Well worth the money and we're planning on repurchasing!
