This particular food was meant for my cat who was diagnosed several months ago with Stage 1 kidney disease. It has a very low phosphorous content and high moisture, both of which is very important. He turned his nose up at it, however, I admit he is VERY finicky. BUT, Kahlua and Toc love it.
My cats seem to love this wet food. It has all good ingredients in it and no nasty unnamed by products. The only negative and reason for 4 stars is the consistency, seems I need a fork to mash it up, otherwise it's a slab of meat and alittle unappetizing for my picky cat to eat! I suspect her to have IBD, so looking for no chicken in the ingredients can be quite daunting, leaning towards offering her RAW food too, but Feline Natural is a great product, I think. My cat loves the sauce too, maybe more than the Lamb and Salmon.
My cat was recently diagnosed with kidney dysfunction, and the vet recommended a high-quality wet food. I started him on this food, which he loves. Time will tell if it will help his kidney function. My girls really love this food too, and I feel better knowing they are eating good quality food.
My older cat is getting really finicky and it's hard to find a food she will eat. Both my cats like it.
I have 2 cats that like very smooth pate. This is very chunky so neither would touch it. I tried adding water to thin it out but the meat bits were still large. The ingredients look great and they were interested in drinking the water portion, just didn't EAT any of the meat. They are jerks, what can I say.
The first bag, finished 70%. The second bag, finished 30% The third bag, 0%. My cats didn't touch it. They rather stay hungry.
My senior cat is allergic to chicken and had been getting Instinct LID turkey and rabbit. I think Instinct changed the turkey recipe because it looked different and my cat wouldn't touch it anymore. Then he started getting picky with the rabbit and I was at my wit's end trying to get him to eat because he was losing weight. I gave this a go and he loves it. He only gets this for one of his meals and he cleans his plate with minimal coaxing.
Sadly, this has been a waste of money as my little guy wouldn't touch it. He's not the pickiest with his food either.
This wet food smells so good, and even I feel it should be tasty. They love it so much that they finished it in 5 minutes.
This was an instant hit with both cats and my cat with IBD handled it with no tummy issues. The pouches have an excellent ratio of food to water, so my older cat who thinks it’s gravy is tricked into extra hydration. So far it’s a win for all.
