Made my kitten severely sick

If I could give this a zero star I would. I have 2 cats, an 8 year old and 7 month old kitten we just adopted a couple of months ago. The older cat gets aggressive and wants to constantly correct or fight with the kitten so I thought I would purchase this as it said it was safe for cats and recommended by vets. Well it had no effect on my older cat and after the first day I plugged it in my kitten started rejecting her food. Then the second day woke up at 4 am to her vomiting. Thought maybe it was her eating the older cats food. She got progressively worse with the vomiting and not eating or drinking water for the rest of the day and through the night. I looked up reviews on this plug in and others have had the same issue. I removed the plug in, aired out my house and wiped down where the plug in was. I had to take her to the vet for emergency treatment because of how much she threw up and was dehydrated. Needless to say after a $300 vet visit, $40 plug in and my kitten getting violently sick, I do not recommend this. Since we removed the plug in she is back to normal.

We used the spray version of this on our semi feral cat's blankets, and it seemed to help a lot! When she finally left the corner of the bathroom, where she had been cowering for over 11 weeks, we switched to this diffuser. We plugged it in next to the dining room table where she is currently hiding. After about 3 days, my asthma started acting up. After 7 days, we had to unplug it. I read reviews that warned about this, but I really think it helped Reese a lot. She has continued to explore and get more comfortable. Unfortunately, it has taken a few weeks to get my asthma under control. It's a good product for those without breathing problems.

New cat vs old cats

We have two indoor female cats (sisters - Bella and Violet) that are 4 years old. We have been feeding a stray cat for over a year when she started coming to me and wanting to be petted. After about a month of this, we decided to take her to the vet and bring her into our house. Turned out she had been chipped and is a 7 year old spayed female (Angel). We kept her isolated initially and thought our other cats would easily adapt. They were all terrified of each other but I was giving them time to adjust. Then about a month ago, Angel decided to venture upstairs where the other cats were hiding. Violet attacked Angel and bit her on the paw which required two vet trips for treatment. Violet was snarling and hissing at Bella and very unhappy with everything. I found an old, unopened Feliway diffuser in the cupboard and decided even if it was 4 years old, I would try it. The results were amazing! I have purchased two new ones and put on each floor near the stairs. The old cats are not friendly with the new cat yet but Violet is no longer hissing at Bella, and I am going to add some calming powder to their food to see if that helps them to get along better.

I can't believe it, but it worked!

When I installed this diffuser, I thought it might not work. Seems a little odd. But he almost immediately became calmer, particularly when I came home from work. Instead of 1.5 hours of crankiness, it was more like 15 mins. I make sure I pet him right next to the diffuser when I first come home. It really does work.

I adopted a kitten two months ago and did not expect how much it would affect Zoie. They did not get along and Zoie ended up getting sick with an upper respiratory infection, plus she was lethargic and not eating well. Now she is her old self, playful and affectionate. I truly think that the Feliway helped.

Wow! I recently adopted a new cat and my existing cat has been bullying him. We had some potty accidents and I was at my wits end trying to decide what to do. Among some other things, I ordered 2 Feliway diffusers. The SAME DAY as putting them up, we have had no more accidents and everyone seems calmer. I couldn’t believe how quickly it worked. If you are wondering about using this- give it a try! It really worked for us.

This was an additional buy. I had bought some a week before and thought to add to another room. Used the original purchase for a week and both cats started throwing up and moaning. After researching realized it was the optimum fella way. Once it was out of the house, both cats were better after a few hours. It’s now been several days without and cats have not thrown up again.

No changes as described

I was truly hoping that this plug-in would help my lovey, Max, with his adjusting to a new place and some social (people) hiccups... Sadly it has not helped. And

I was truly hoping that this plug-in would help my lovey, Max, with his adjusting to a new place and some social (people) hiccups... Sadly it has not helped. And I'm disappointed that I spent more $$ on this one item than I do for actual home fragrance plug-ins. If this worked for you, that's Amazing! For my fur baby... it has not.

Had it plugged in for about a day, read all the instructions and made sure to set it up correctly, but then it started smelling like burning plastic, was smoking, and was hot to the touch. Definitely a fire hazard, and after looking online it seems like a fairly common occurrence for these to catch fire or be defective.

It has a weird plastic burning smell but over a few days it either went away or i got used to it lol , got this for my kitten because she was going through her first heat and had to wait a week for her spay appointment. i did see a slight difference for example she was sleeping way more than before, she still did attack my arm sometimes but that’s just normal behavior for her, but overall im still skeptical if it works or not
