This supplement can be sprinkled on dry or wet food. We recommend when starting, to start with a smaller dose, like 1/4 to 1/2, and then gradually moving up to the full dose. Mixing it with some room temperature bone broth can often make it more appealing.

Great for wet food

I have five cats, all are decent eaters, and they are all around three years old. We feed a combination of wet and dry food.When I initially put the powder on top

I have five cats, all are decent eaters, and they are all around three years old. We feed a combination of wet and dry food.When I initially put the powder on top of the wet food, I did it at the bowls and where my cats could see it. They gave it one sniff and refused to eat it. I tried to put it on top of the kibble and mix it in a little, and they also refused to eat that. The next , I try again, but I put the powder on it without them seeing it, added a little warm water, and mix it all together. Since then, I haven’t had any problems, adding it to wet food. I have not been successful, adding it to kibble. I think that it changes the taste and texture too much. I have only been using it for a couple of weeks so I can’t really say much about how it affects their kidneys, but I have been wanting to add a supplement and this is one that works well with the wet food, so I plan to continue using it.

I’ve been adding FERA Pets Kidney Support Powder to my cat’s food, and it’s very easy to measure using the included scoop. I mix it into her wet food, and she has no problem eating it at all. It’s still too early to tell how effective it is since it’s designed for long-term use. My cat is 14 years old and recently began showing early signs of kidney issues at her last vet visit. After learning that senior cats benefit from food or supplements that support kidney function, I feel confident this is a good option to help support her health moving forward.

I received this product from FERA PETS free to review. I've been using the product for a couple weeks now as a topper for their food, and they seem to enjoy it, as they continue to eat all of their food. One of the cats vomited once after this was added to their diets, but that isn't out of the ordinary. I want to do anything I can to support their kidneys, especially since one of my cats has had previous issues and is being monitored. I'm hoping to learn more about whether this is helping at my next vet visit.

Thank you to BuzzAgent for sending ne this product to review. I want to keep my two cats urinary systems in good condition so I thought this would be good to try. I sprinkled some of this in their wet food and mixed it in a bit. My girl was not really a fan. She left quite a bit of food behind with this in it. My boy who is like a vacuum, also left some food behind. They are both usually good eaters but not so much with this. I guess they're not fans of the taste?

I used this for both of my cats. My cat that is 14 didn’t have any problem eating her food with this mixed in, which was a relief. She is the one that needs it the most, so I was very thankful and plan to use this from now on. My second cat who is 2, refuses to eat his food with this mixed in. He doesn’t seem to like the taste. Overall I will definitely continue buying it because my older cat needs it and likes it.

Cat seems healthier/happier

My cat has had kidney issues since being a little kitten so have been using different cat foods and supplements to assist ever since (cat is now over 10 years)

My cat has had kidney issues since being a little kitten so have been using different cat foods and supplements to assist ever since (cat is now over 10 years). It is of course hard to see the exact differences using Fera but I have been happy with how the cat has reacted. The litter is getting proper use, seems to have tons of good ingredients to help my aging cat, and I put it on their food and gets consumed without issue. The cat seems to have higher energy so for a relatively low price this seems like a no brainer to use.

The cat did not like it

I followed the instructions, and when the cat started to eat the food, he always ate and cleaned up. He took one sniff and walked away. He knew something was different

I then gave him food without the product, and he ate it immediately. So, I tried the next day again, with the same results. The product may do what it states but not for this cat.

I can't speak to the effectiveness of this product unfortunately because my cat tries to eat around the powder. It's quite a large scoop for the amount of food I'm mixing it with. It sounds like a good idea because you definitely want to protect your cat's kidneys but unfortunately it's really too much powder and must not taste very good because she wants nothing to do with it
