I got this thinking it would be comparable to no hide stix. My dog seemed to like the field crest farms nothin to hide, but she ate the whole thing in less than 5 minutes. Usually it takes her at least 20 minutes to eat a no hide. I wouldn’t call this a “chew” since it doesn’t accomplish what I need, which is something to occupy her for a while.
My Rat Terrier loved these at first, but it seemed after the first pack, he started getting through them faster and faster each time I gave him one over the last 6 months. The last one I gave him lasted less than 5 min and then he threw up chunks of it 3 times in a day and got diarrhea-- so I would say if your dog buzzes threw them like mine, watch carefully for swallowing chunks and illness.
My dogs love to chew and they were just okay when I presented these. Also, came out in their poop and was discolored looking.
Dogs love them. I will never feed my dogs rawhide and chewing on these keeps my doggos teeth perfectly clean
My geriatric shih tzu with limited teeth tore through this treat in minutes. Not long lasting.
Hence the word hide OMG the very first ingredient on the back it is beef gelatin. How ridiculous is this but on the front and little letters, it says chicken flavor make sure your dogs not allergic to beef before you buy something like this.
They're a one time use as opposed to a bone she goes back to several times - a great little treat!!!
Gave my terrier mix one of these today, and he got very excited! He is chewing it happily right now. These chew sticks are quite small so I have to keep close watch.
I assumed that this rawhide alternative would have long lasting chewability. My Havanese chewed one stick as if it were a quickly consumed treat. Too high a price for something lasting so short term even though it is “natural “.
He loves these and they don’t bother his stomach as rawhide might! No matter what treats I take out when I take out this one he gets excited and always grabs it! I don’t feel quilty if I give him an extra one because they are easy on his stomach,
