six cats, all with a fungal infection

I tried the clear liquid the vet gave me first to put directly on the lesions, but my cats are feral born and although they are indoors and have been for several years, they don't take well at being chased down and caught and Having Things done to them. Plus I am disabled, and I don't take well at chasing them down and Doing Things to them either. I couldn't squeeze the bottle and get the liquid on a q-tip and treat them, and two of them are so big that they leave huge bruises on me and claw me without meaning too. I am also on blood thinners so bleeding is not a good thing. I did a lot of online research, then called my vet and this was what we came up with. A month's worth, for six cats. The mortar and pestle I tried didn't work with my hands, so I ended up crushing between two spoons, and there were days when my hands hurt badly... but we're on the last few days, and the lesions are pretty much gone. Littlest had the largest one, and fur is growing up through it. Bruiser had several in his ear and they are gone. Tabs and Elbee still have some bare spots in their fur, but Tabs fusses and scratches and Elbee provokes every one else to tussle with him (he is a little socially awkward and believes that the way to make friends is to go up to the other cat and punch them in the face, then ambush them in the litter box. Then he wanders around mewing and wondering why no one will play with him). I think Nyar! still has some bumps on her tail, but she will not let me look at it, so there! (She's a Siamese mix and the most recent to the clowder. Her opinions are set in stone the minute she has them). Figment didn't have any that I noticed, but with something like this, EVERYONE gets treated, or they will be forever passing it back and forth. She is the wildest still, so I am very glad I was able to coax her to eat her food. Fortunately, she is also the smallest, so if she left some and one of the others ate it, I did figure that she got enough for her size and the big boys got a little extra for their size. The ordering process went quickly and the meds were here even faster than Chewy's estimate. And so far, I haven't caught it either. I'd knock on wood, but all that is within reach is pressboard and laminate.
